Sharp Dent On Mercedes Benz Bodyline | Paintless Dent Repair | No Paint

In this video we repair a small but very sharp dent on mercedes benz bodyline. The dent is on the lower bodyline of the rear right doors. Dent was repaired using paintless dent repair. There was no paint done on this repair.

Problem is that I am a beginner. At the start of each video, please show all equipment you will use - heat gun & setting. Tools to be used & why. Glue brand & glue gun setting. In other words go slow for beginners. Show all details - especially the sharpness of tool tip. Thank so much.

Great work .The videos don’t do it justice the amount of skill and patience you need to hve to do PDR work! I have a similar dent on the bottom of my VW Tiguan boot lid and its so annoying

What does the hole you used to get access look like? I imagine you had to bend it and maybe damage the paint in that area?

U can put tape around it to protect the paint, and later straight it back to original position.

Like RinconMont said you can protect the hole yes. Usually they do get out of shape and we can straighten them out with special tools made for that. You really have to abuse it to take the paint off.

Thank you. When pushing up the dent, often so called shoulders will appear on the side of the dent.

Great work! Is there any rule in using the heat gun? What's the temperature? Professional heat gun can be hot enough to damage the paint.

You are correct they can damage the paint. I dont know the exact temperature I just go by feeling.
