I live in Australia. Iv had this problem for the last seven years untill I changed 1 thing this year. What you have is viral, no amount of antibiotics will work. You need to kick start there digestive system. The worst thing for a young bird is barley. I followed the system you did at the start with the barley last year, and it was the worst season I had ever had. I was almost done after 4 races. This is what worked for me this year. Keep in mind this is breeding with the exact same breeders this year as last year. Last year i was thinking all these people are telling me this feed light this day give them this that day put this in the water do this do that, exactly what your doing right now. And when I handle there birds at baketing you can feel the corn and safflower and all the good seeds in there crop, not much seed but a little bit. So it got me thinking next year out with the barley and they will only get a heavy feed. And lone behold this year iv had no adeno virus. So in a short note. feed them a heavy mix no pellets it doesn't work there digestive system enough like seed. Once they come off pellets onto seed there digestive system doesn't handle it. Hear is what you need to do Hold them off food for 24hrs to empty them out a bit Only clean water. They need to drink heaps to hydrate, if there is anything in the water they won't drink as much. Then only feed a heavy breeding mix with peanuts. You have to feed by eye. Once 5 or 6 go to the drinker remove the food and the rest of the feed give to the breeders or feed it to them tomorrow. Clean water the whole time. Something so simple but it worked for me. Only feed heavy for ybs when your going to send them to a race or toss, the day before only feed half what you usually do. And the morning of basketing a few handfuls off safflower. I think what you have are long distance birds they will be slow at the start but they should hold there own in the long distance races depending on genetics. Any sick birds separate them from the rest and feed the same. some may not recover but most should. Please try this for atleast 1 week. You can thank me later.

Quick question. That beach or play sand doesn't give the birds cocci..Does the rain blow in there..I've been flying race birds for over 43 years, and I was taught never to use sand cause it breeds cocci..
I don't think that there is anything you can do at this stage for the youngsters. It will just have to burn itself out. The ones that survive survive. The sick ones who recover may never perform at their full potential.
Hi Henry sorry about your ybds . There are so many diseases and viruses going around it's difficult to diagnose. When I listen to all your treatments there is not much else u could of done. I unfortunately don't have a answer for your problem if u find the solution please share. Your 30 km training flight from work is more than enough as long as they have a longer one over the weekend either a race or 200km toss. Just a question is your boot ventilated when u toss the birds? Are they throwing up in the perches?? Sounds like adino. Nothing you can do. Try giving them fennel tea for 5 days. I’ve heard it helps

Remove the sand out your loft you will see the difference stop the medication give them apple cider acitade their crops
