      Thank you I appreciate the kind words! It's not reasonable to make a course for something as huge and complex as this framework. But, I would like to make another course sometime in the future!

      Thank you! I appreciate the kind words! Yes I use the common UI plugin in this framework. I am working on a public video that goes over the new framework in detail explaining the technical strengths of the framework. I will be uploading that video to this channel once it's finished!

    I did subscribe to the Udemy course but it was all over the place if u are making in future anything like this please make it clear and organized

      The course is not all over the place. Most of the issues can be fixed if you simply disregard any code that is visible but not used, because any code I haven't taught won't be used until I actually show how to set it up. Nothing is out of order, I just have some code that is visible but not used and since any code I haven't taught won't be used until I actually show how to set it up there should be no issues following the course.
      So despite some people saying that things are out of order or that it was "all over the place", this is false. Everything is in the correct order and it is properly structured into different sections like attributes section, State Manager section, AI section, etc.
      You can find the proof right here on TH-cam, a guy followed the course and made a "Asmongold Souls-like" video and it's a great video where he shows his progress of everything we setup in the course in order and he had a great experience. Asmongold himself reacted to it and his chat was talking about how easy Unreal Engine looks, which I'm glad my course helped to make these things look so easy.
      The people who say things like "it's all over the place", those are mainly students that are not within the recommended experience level. They see some bit of code that is visible and not used and think the whole thing is out of order, and I made the mistake of thinking everyone would understand that they don't need a bit of code visible in a video that we don't end up using in that video. When we do need that code I show how to set it up. I can understand how that might be a bit confusing to some (especially those without the recommended experience) but it's definitely not "all over the place", I also made the mistake of expecting too much experience from the audience.
      Regardless, I have taken in the feedback and will use it to improve any new tutorial content going forward.

    There is no doubt that Jake has a lot of knowledge regarding combat mechanics , I was hoping to learn from him when I joined his Udemy course , however that course has not been updated for a long time and as such I kept away from his UE marketplace ARPG product as well
    Now I see he is updating ARPG product and I want to buy this but I fear I m not be able to learn from it as there is no corresponding updated Udemy course that will teach me how to use this ARPG system.
    I think it would be great if Jake made a new course on Udemy for this, cuz its no point to buy this if there is no course teaching how to learn it, also it is not just the course, as a beginner like me needs to spend additional money on combat anims as well such as weaponmaster combat anims for swords, bows etc which cost double than any combat framework itself.
    So I would like to ask Jake when he will be uploading a new course on Udemy teaching us on how to use this new updated ARPG framework? :)
    The June sale ends soon and I want to buy this & weaponmaster during this, but if there is no new Udemy course, then I am afraid I will buy TCF instead as the both have the combat style that I am going for.

      Thank you, I appreciate the kind words! The souls-like combat course and Advanced ARPG Combat Framework are two entirely separate things each with different system design. AARPG already has it's own tutorial series on how to use it in an unlisted playlist. This tutorial series for AARPG has around 8 hours worth of video tutorials. The current souls-like combat course teaches how to create a custom combat system from scratch and is around 8 hours long as well. The tutorials just on how to use Advanced ARPG Combat is around the same hours as the custom souls-like combat course. So from that you can imagine the difference in complexity and feature set. If I were to teach something as complex and advanced as this framework; that course would be well over 100 hours long.
      Taking the souls-like course might help you with AARPG since learning how to code combat mechanics can help, but it is not a requirement because they are so vastly different. I would like to do more courses in the future, but those courses would include smaller bits and pieces of techniques I used in AARPG and would be more for students wanting to learn the core principles of these AAA coding methods to create their own custom combat system.

    Great update! I see you have a save interface, instance, and blueprint already setup, but where can I connect them so that "resting' by the campfire saves the game?

    Hello, is there a detailed tutorial on how to apply the animations and assets exactly how it was shown in the video? I just got V3 in the marketplace and I cant wait to test it out :)
    Also, if its not too much, the ALS community needs your help on the integration part. There are thousands of people in ALS discord who will be interested to see how this can be combined in ALS V4.

    the Bow and arrow

    Is incredible! I wanted to buy the course on UDEMY to better understand the product since I want to implement my own logic but I think I'd better ask for a tutorial on it. I am a customer since the first versions that worked in Unreal Engine 4 of the project and I want to know how can I implement a double jump and a double jump attack? Of course, each weapon should have a different animation for its double jump.

    I could not change the material of the arrows in the quiver, all of them are at the default setting. how can I ? I change rogue and example arrow material but it didnt work

      This is something related to settings somewhere in your texture / material, you need to make sure the material/texture is set to support instanced static meshes. As the arrows in the quiver use instanced static meshes for the performance benefits. I can't remember where the setting is but you should be able to find it through a google search.

      No, the animations are sold separately. The basic ranged combat animations are included and all the magic combat VFX & animations are included. But for the melee combat the included animations are paragon animations. You can search for Weapon Master animset to find the melee combat animations
