Hello, Titus! Somehow I wasn’t receiving your notifications Bro! Love your theory about trying out a new lure for at least 15 minutes before changing it. I believe all to often we miss out on a great lure because we never really give it a chance to succeed. Three things that I try to do is with a new lure is; 1.) “Test” it during a time when you are already having a successful fishing adventure. (There are many reasons for this.), 2.) Watch a video or two on this New Lure of someone fishing with it (Not a video from the lure maker but from random TH-cam Fishermen using this lure. And watch their video and gathering key information to help you succeed when you use it.) and 3.) Fish the New Lure with confidence. (I believe your feelings about a lure while using it is conveyed in your ability to exercise the use of a lure which either improves or lessens your chance in catching fish.) And, now I will add your practice of fishing with a New Lure for at least 15 minutes before switching it out. “Big Brat”… has now proven itself as a successful lure for you to use. Personally, there is nothing greater than discovering a “New Lure” that becomes your “Go-To” lure! Blessings, Rob

I like the 15-minute rule. I usually give a bait 10 casts, maybe I need to go longer.
