See all those cracks in the dash. I now have the exact same cracks. It was impossible to remove this part from my car without breaking it into pieces. My 11 year old sun baked plastic crumbled in my hands even when I was trying to be careful. I ended up glueing everything back together because a replacement part is around $100. I also had some cracking around the air conditioner controls.
Same thing happened on this car too. Bought a used piece for like 40 bucks IIRC
