Great idea, looks professional too. Here's a wee tip for sealing the ends of synthetic ropes, melt the cut end with a lighter or match. Stops it from fraying. Best of luck with your new channel, Pete 👍
I have a plug like that were I removed the fuse holder an used a neutral pin off a other plug so no fuse and I linked out all pins I use this when working on a ring or radial circuits so if some one dose put the power on am safe as all 3 pins are shorted.
@@Pure_electrical_training oh sorry Adrian I must have misheard the price on the video I've managed to make two for 8 quid after seeing this video slightly better than paying £15 for the same thing on eBay.
I went to order one and came across this video. I just made my own as I'd everything in the van for it 👍
Perfect 👌
Brilliant, what a great idea...on my way out now to buy the stuff.
You are more than welcome 🤗
A very practice professional blue Peter video 😂 thanks

Thank you Pete 🙏
Nice one. I have done similar with a single metal clad box and socket plate👍🏻
Mate what a great and simple way to null your leads, tho’s overpriced metal tools are easily lost so this is much better 👍
I can’t claim all the credit, as I saw someone make one of these on Twitter, but they hadn’t thought of making it a tool to null the leads 👌
Nice one 😊 saved me a few quid there mate 😊😊😊
You are more than welcome 👌
I use a singe unswitched socket on a patress, only downside is the patress box is easily damaged if dropped etc. That type of socket is miles better

Already done this..
Cost about £8.00
About 10mins in time
Easy null lead and socket tester holder
Simples
Simple, but effective 🙌
❤ can I ask. Is that 6mm wire, you are using
1.5mm
Exellent
Good stuff
Thank you 🤗
Thank you 🤗
These sockets are available a Toolstation for £3 and you can buy a paracord keychain on eBay for about £4 so you can actually make them cheaper
How much cheaper does that equate too?
£4.70 for the socket (delivered)
£0.66p for a carabiner (delivered)
Bungee cords I had.

Fluke charging £50 for the piece of metal? Disgusting company 🤮
