This is way more complex and thematic than RISK or its later futuristic variants with the resource management and cooperative nature. Looks great. This continues the X-COM-esque atmosphere from L7:Omega Protocol, but on the global scale.

this is a nice co-op game, bringing elements of both risk and axis and allies

Who gets the MIC bonus for destroying a dropship if there's multiple coalitions attacking?

i thought it was a rescource of your choice, not a MIC bonus, in either case it will be inthe cooalition controlling the territory................... this is to the the best of knowledgde, having only played the game once

The game tutorial is pretty nice and the game looks really great and I like it, but is like playing a Risk game with some other and different variants ... that's the awful part of this game, if I buy this game I will feel like that I'm buying a Risk game!

oh ok, first thing to say the material is superb, one of the best board I ever see, good miniatures, personal board and card, that was very good.
The rules are clear, any step follow the other (you have 15 steps any turns) in a very clear flow of actions.
I love the asimmetry of the game, different coalition have very different parameters (hard to say if they are finely balanced this require many games) and so different strategy required to going on.
The semi-cooperative part of the game is not soo dominant, the first problem is the game is easy, very easy to win to basic level. We follow the instruction for "hard" level and was quite easy too (not trivial but for sure not hard), we double check rules to be sure we don't get wrong any step but is all correct, so to have a real challenge you must introduce some "home made" hard set-up.
Other little problem is the game scale very very bad, is a game for 5 players, not one less not one more.
So my conclusion is very very good game, only need to be harder to force players to be less "cooperatipe" and struggle more in "selfishness" to spice the game. See you
