Might sound stupid, but I have a T1760 that was my dads and ran well for years. The past few summers, however, I've been having issues with getting it to start. Runs fine, once started. I replaced the battery last month, and when I go through the start procedure nothing happens. I might have to repeat this procedure numerous times before it finally starts. Obviously I am no mechanic, and I cannot afford to take it to one. I suspect that the solenoid or starter might be worn out. I don't hear a clicking sound, which is often the indication of a bad solenoid. Cables and wires all seem solid and it's getting gas. Opinion?
