I still don't understand he is obsessed with waiting for the timeskip ... Kawaki has now been accepted as a member of Naruto's family and he has taken the seventh as a reference figure and therefore wants to defend the village. It would not make sense to rush things and get straight to the timeskip as it would mean that Kawaki's sudden change will have to be sudden and his motivations trivial. If Kawaki is actually the architect of the destruction of the village it will take much more convincing explanations and Kawaki precisely during the course of the anime will have to develop events that will lead him to change his way of thinking and that will lead him to clash with Boruto. ... for this to happen it will not be enough just a saga or two but it will take years to conceive the real causes of the disaster that will happen.Put your soul in peace and enjoy Boruto ...
