Moved here a few months ago. Did a little fly fishing in Utah and Idaho. Great video and tips!! I know you said that doors break more rods than anything; I will tell you another way that they can break. My wife was vacuuming my office and I had a couple of rods in a corner of the office. Somehow she knocked one down and she vacuumed right over it and snapped off about 8 inches of the tip of the rod. True story. I will come by and check out your shop soon. I live in Sun City Festival in Buckeye.
Excellent Chris. Clear and to the point. Love the 70 % concept. The windshield tip is fabulous . Threading the rod folding the fly line WILL save a lot of frustration. Well done and thank you. Been FF for 8 years and other than tripping over a brome grass covered barbwire fence. I love the learning. Number one rule or experience we will all learn which makes the whole experience a joy is that called patience. I have embraced patience like a friend. ESPECIALLY with the wind knots. My tip.... Don't panic. I make it a goal to try to untie MOST everyone. I have some suggestions on that what are your tips for untying wind knots? It too has made me a far better caster as well. To the WATER.
You bet👍 I don’t untie wind knots, I very seldom get one in my line, when I do, I cut it out and re tie. Thanks for watching and keep after the stuff that sets your soul on fire👍
