And drives new players away. I tried to get my friend into this game and we faced cheaters 75% of the time and he gave up. It sucks.
This unfortunately happens a lot when bringing in new players because the experienced players are in MMR that is more likely to face cheaters.
If they played on their own they likely wouldn't face cheaters, but then it's also more boring

and the worst is that you never get your mmr back. Meaning that the cheater you went against went through the entire season without getting banned. No matter how obvious they are.

The first replay is the type of match I get 90% of the time me and my buddy are unranked but we're like sliver/gold at best and we get put with emeralds and diamonds all the time.

Dude same, playing with my friend who was silver 2 and I was playing for my gold 5 and the entire enemy team was plat or emerald and our team was silver with one bronze, we got smacked down of course

The first guy probably just wanted to play with his friend and he can’t do that at his rank
He had a 2.0 K/D as a champ with over a 70% win rate after 100 matches, hes not playing against people his rank probably ever. He most likely constantly ques with low rank people so he rarely has to play against actually good players....or hes literally the best siege player in the world.

So, trigger is actually when people walk in to your crosshair, or you move your crosshair on them, it automatically shoots. Not when they appear on screen
1,000 hours on this game, finally decided to uninstall last night. I just can't do it anymore man, these online FPS games are so dog shit now. I'm ready to move on. So many great games in my steam library where I don't have to deal with other human beings (trash).
Your videos brought me a lot of enjoyment over the years of playing this game, but I gotta go, honestly watching R6 content makes me want to start playing again but every single time I get off a session of this game, I regret it. The community is so toxic, the players are so pathetic, and the game has just lost its soul. This game honestly peaked between year 2 and year 3 and anybody who says differently must have not played back then, this game is a shell of its former self and has been taken over by low lifes who can hardly speak English.
Wish you the best, but don't ever count on Ubisoft fixing their anticheat. They make money off of every cheater they ban who then has to spend more money to re-purchase the game, and re-purchase skins and so forth. There are no new players, only returning players who have already remembered why they quit, and have since moved on (like me). Ranked is a dead end, I tried standard, still got spinbotted every few games, and still go against wallhackers EVERY game (that is not an exaggeration). If I'm not playing against them, I'm playing with them.
The game past operation chimera fell off tbh. I still enjoy the game now, but I can't deny this game has been going backwards for years.
They had a redemption last season, yeah this season is a mess. Completely understandable.

And for me operation grim sky Is when I stopped playing, I hated the recoil changes, didn't like the ops and no new map, plus Hereford rework just sucks tbh

coming from other games, it completely baffles me that there are no restrictions on what ranks are allowed to queue together in the ranked mode. especially in a game like siege where you have the tools to absolutely shit on people below your skill level.
It's so demoralising to come up against emerald and plats when I'm trying to climb in ranked.
It used to exist but then was removed in part because people wanted to play with their friends in ranked.
Just get better bro. I absolutely hate skill based match making in any game.
I’m a plat and constantly play against champs, but I still win a lot. I’m getting significantly better every day just because I play against people better than me.

Copper - Silver players don’t get better playing significantly better opponents than them because all that happens is that 1 random diamond player stuck on that team is forced to carry or it’s an easy 0-4 sweep. There’s nothing to learn because everything you do is a mistake in comparison to them
recently this season they added a new censorship to the text chat. If you type "Hacks" or "Cheats" in text chat, you get secretly disabled from talking in text chat for a period of time, sometimes it even disables everyone from talking.
People think its a bug but it always happens after someone tries to say "This person is hacking/Cheating"
It's literally a bug, u can type hi and it won't show for people but if you scroll up and done the chat logs it appears and disappears
I have faced 2 blantant cheater this season spin bot aimbot the whole thing, yesterday i got rp deducted from my account because i guess i won with i closet cheater on my team but the blantent cheaters i lost too still are not banned
Just to let you know some cheats allow ‘Unlock All’ for every skin in the game not sure if its only local or not tho

I find its much easier to tell cheating in match replay due to seeing player outlines through walls. They should have it so it shows your outline to you in the kill cam.

@@davidebalduini898He was using guns with fairly decent recoil so if he’s really as good as his stats and the replay shows he shouldn’t have trouble controlling recoil.
Also it was clearly a choppy replay that made certain animations and encounters glitchy and out of sync so the recoil might’ve just not have been properly recorded in the replay
@@FunkyFlunky2332 you would be surprised of how many people i've met that use mouse scripts, in the italian r6 community people (20k) they normally share them around, it's a normal thing, while someone can be good with recoil control you can't completely nullify it, there's always a bit of shaking/twitch, even pro players sometimes mess it, you can see the gun at 0:51 it has no weight/pull on his vertical movement, this is because the script is compensating and his hand is free to point and click, the gun is completely free of any irregularity even with such violent thrusts

You should do a follow up episode. Like go back and look at the blatant cheaters from past videos and see if they've been banned. That should truly expose how trash BattleEye is
In the first match, the moment that encouraged me to submit the match was the snap on the 13:19 just before killing me.
I have no idea why the replay is choppy but I repaired my game files since so I hope it solves the issue

They still should do somethin about matches like the first one cant believe they went back to the average mmr of the squad type of system for matchmaking smh. These devs are just working backwards now, huh? But ig thats the whole point now to try to enable you to play the game more by not letting you even get to where you used to be. I solo queued pretty much all the time before and was hard stuck gold until the near end of 1.0 where I finally broke that barrier to plat for like 2 seasons. Now 2.0 comes out and I just seem to be hard stuck silver on top of more cheaters if I play with friends that got to emerald last season.
Ubisoft can’t ban every cheater even if they wanted to because the game would become dead.

In one of your other videos (the one four days ago) you and Evan mentioned how if they wanted to give Siege a Valorant-style anti-cheat, they’d have to remake siege from the ground up. I don’t know really anything about anti-cheat’s or game design tbh, so will someone explain to me how? Like, why would they have to rebuild the game for it? (Also, I don’t play valorant, what is their anti-cheat?)
valorant has an anticheat called Vanguard that's kernel level (i.e. it has access to every part of your computer). its not completely impossible to bypass but its generally considered to be one of the best anticheats because of how invasive it is
idk much about battleye or qb (r6's custom anticheat) but from what i can tell battleye is a kernel mode anticheat, it just doesn't run 24/7 like vanguard, and qb is usermode, so they're both easier to get around
i cant say siege would need a complete rewrite but i'd imagine they'd have to rework a lot since implementing a completely new anticheat isn't super simple
Don't know the specifics but I know that Valorant's anti-cheat was built as part of the game. Not sure why it makes such a huge difference but it's undeniable it's the best in the genre and actually works. So I'm guessing they're saying to get a anti-cheat as good as Valorant's, you have to build it with the game, instead of adding it afterwards.
Not gonna lie when i go up against cheaters wether there boosting so im fighting champions in copper lobbies or hip fire headshotting sometimes i feel like starting to cheat when i play this game for 2 hours a week and always against cheaters

I know this has been said a million times but I just don't get the point in cheating. I have even seen quite a few in standard, like what is their end gial here? Even using cheats in simgle player games is usually boring.
Boosting people who pay to get boosted to higher ranks or boosting the accounts their using to sell them off to other hackers or players who want the stats and cheats
Also just people who care way too much about a video game and to cope with the fact they’re actually nowhere near as good as their favorite TH-camrs or pro league players they cheat to try to replicate better players’ skill

i started playing again 2 seasons ago on PC and have yet to go against an actual cheater, besides once when i had my rp drop due to having one on the enemy team at one point (which i didn’t even know until the game was long done)

Tbh rank don’t mean anything anymore after 2.0 I wasn’t around for 1.0 but me being new to controller and outfragging a last season emerald shouldn’t ever happen he was in a bronze lobby and he went 1-7 I had 8-2 playing support ..
My only real gripe with Varsity's take on some players, is when he assumes that a higher ranked player is actively TRYING to play with lower ranked friends to pad their stats.
I really wish he'd take into account the fact that some players, like myself, are just significantly worse than their friends, but they still want to play TOGETHER.
I get that some people DO have a nefarious purpose to playin gwith lower ranked people, but that's not everyone, and the generalizationi is a really bad habit that Varsity has.
