What is your dream coffee machine?
Sorry ar.. Quick question.. As I noticed same timing on both extraction.. do you have a same coffew dose and grind size for both testing in each machine?
Yes that is correct both = same . We calibrated and set the grinder based on volume on a 16g portafilter basket and extraction time. Both machine uses the same basket size.

Depends of machine ...
Very instructive! Thank you for sharing this :-)!!!
You're very welcome!
Thanks for the info,
Do you sell bezzera arcadia pid 2g? How much?
Yes, do contact us for more info
Very helpful! Thank you :)
Glad it was helpful!
You suppose to grind finer for preinfusion. Good movie.👍
The grind size is done so that the espresso shot matches both side of pre-infusion and straight through in this video. You are correct, if there is a 10 second pre-infusion you are suppose to pull at say 25+10 , which means finer grind size.
Blindfolded, can you tell the difference between with and without pre-infusion espresso?
Side by side taste wise for experienced barista or coffee drinkers yes.
@@MalaysiaBarista how about cone vs flat burrs grinder, can you also taste the difference?
Great video thank you from Italy! Best regards
Our pleasure!
Does the length of pre infusion affec flow rate?
Yes
Very informative, thanks
Thanks for watching!
Hi -- auto pre-infussion is 7 secs on my Oracle Touch -- having watch these vids I tried stopping the brewing process at 6 secs (or when the first liquid comes through the filter) and let the brew wait for a couple of seconds then press the brew button again which repeats the preinfussion process -- this takes the pre-inussion from 7 secs to 17-18 -- can I taste the difference, barely. I use a very dark roast bean, which has a strong taste.
You are right in this sense. This is because Espresso Machine is originally designed for medium roast level. Certain features, options or styles such as pre-brew and pre-infusion differences in taste may not be that noticeable if you are using light roast, dark or very dark roast level.
