From what I understand, Marc was told he sounded like Freddie Mercury before he recognized the similarity. He didn't sing like that to become a tribute artist. He was picked by Brian May and Roger Taylor to be the vocalist for the official Queen tribute band, The Queen Extravaganza. He also plays the piano and guitar. In the movie, "Bohemian Rhapsody", Marc Martel provided the vocals where they didn't have recordings of Freddie Mercury that fit.
In an interview he’s mentioned that before covering Freddie, he was emulating a lot of George Michael. Which also makes perfect sense! He’s essentially a hybrid of the two.

Laughable really. As for whether or not he ever tours with them, ehh I don't really care anymore. I'd go see Marc with his band for a fraction of the price, over going to see the remnants of Queen with that awful screeching peacock. But, do enjoy! But... it's not Queen.
@@darksoulnj You've given your opinion have I said anything bad about MM? You haven't done any research have you? Only 0.0001% of MM's vocals wee used they were mixed with original recordings of Freddie, I get it that you don't like Adam but think on, yes Brian and Roger chose MM for their Tribute Band which was okay for a while, but he did the dirty on them, now they have no contact at all. All this has nothing to do with Adam, NOTHING, you're the one bad mouthing him why? I have no problem with MM but I have his fans and you've proved exactly why doesn't say much for your chum does it.
Why you don't pay to attention that so many people said thay he is actually his son
He's not really, but it's a fun theory that a lot of people seem to have.
Marc is always imitating Fredie.
Thats bad.
