Seeing Jonny like this, on stage displaying pure unbridled passion and god-given talent that few measure up to makes me both happy and sad. Happy that it happened but sad knowing what else might have been could he keep his addiction under control.
@@scottyweimuller6152 very weird thing to say lol. It doesn’t stop me from listening but it is disappointing what happened through the years w Jonny and his problems..why can’t you both care and listen? Weirdo
+xMiyazakiAkira if you knew anything about vocal technique and not just anything that sounds remotely pretty you'd know how much better he is then both of them, and it's really not even close.
Or just smoked weed and drank just saying guys he did a lot more than heroin and none the less if y'all haven't heard his new album Beautiful Death with SLAVES y'all are missing out. IMO it's his best work
WHY IS HE SO PERFECT ON STAGE. I saw him live as his solo thing, and it was just so intensely amazing, like, idk why he isn't super famous because of his voice...
Probably because it's not as good as you guys dramatize it to be. He's talented, that's about it. You all praise him as if he's one of the best vocalists in the history of the world... 😂🤣😂🤣 like tell me you're 14 without telling me.
2021 and still loving him since I first heard him in Dgd back in 2008 and a random peirce the veil song. Never knew it was the same guy until a few years ago lmao me and brother blast his live stuff when we hang out.
he does something very well thats very hard to do, hes able to hold his voice on the verge of screaming and singing and make it sound good. very few people can pull it off
yeah i actually had the chance to meet him once after a small show in buffalo, we chatted for a while, it doesnt seem that hes an asshole, but more of a narcicist, like he knows his voice is the best, which i really have no problem with, hes one of my favorite voclaists ever
I fucking love Jonny Craig man, he was flawless in Emarosa's Relativity album /era. Self titled was good but man nothing they've ever done and most bands within the genre can't even reach that level. Jonny was also fantastic in DGD even though I prefer Kurt. I never really miss bands or shows I've been to but man do I miss old DGD and Emarosa, I wish I could experience their shows past shows again.
You should try to get some tickets for their current tour, if it's still possible. DGD is touring with Kurt AND Jonny Craig. Saw them today, was amazing. They even performed "uneasy hearts weigh the most" together.
Also try Jonny's new band slaves their new album beautiful death is stellar. Definitely not as musically diverse as Jonny's early work but at least Imo it's his best work in years and is a really strong cohesive album
im seeing this sunday, im really excited i love all the bands playing. Although i thought Emarosa was better before but the new guy has a really sick voice
at the beginning i thought the drummer failed... i never saw a drummer stay so still while beating on drums lol. he kicked it up a notch.. good job haha
i saw Sky Eats Airplane, Emerosa, A Day to Remember and The Devil Wears Prada at The National in Richmond VA! Sky Eats was ok, Emerosa was pretty good, ADTR started the biggest mosh pit! and The Devil Wears Prada was REALLY GOOD!
@adammccombes1996 one last thing are the song set list for all the bands enjoyable because i know last time i went to a concert the song set list was horrible and the crowd just stood there... Lol since i already bought the tickets i dont want my money going to waste...
That is true, they deserve credit as well. But, guitarists and drummers and pianists for the most part are replaceable. It is the singers voice who makes or breaks a band for the most part...there are tons of capable musicians out there...that is why the singer is always given the love...part of being in a band...
Yeah there doesnt seem to be a climax in this song. The tension seems to keep at one tense. If that makes any sense. I can notice this and im just a normal person without any Music Theory experience lol
its one of those nights where you go watch all jonny craigs live profformances with each of his bands
ikr, same here
ikr, same here
dur drup or every night lol
Oh my god
dude same!
Seeing Jonny like this, on stage displaying pure unbridled passion and god-given talent that few measure up to makes me both happy and sad. Happy that it happened but sad knowing what else might have been could he keep his addiction under control.
Who cares just shut up and listen to the music.
@@scottyweimuller6152 I care. What are you going to do about it?
@@FIDEL_CASHFLOW_ of course you do, you live for drama which is pathetic to say the least.

What a fucking voice! No one touches Jonny!
+derek motta bryce beckley heartist, tillian pearson dgd, plenty of singers are great dummy
+xMiyazakiAkira if you knew anything about vocal technique and not just anything that sounds remotely pretty you'd know how much better he is then both of them, and it's really not even close.
+Brandon Harfield Tyler from issues enough said best in the the genre
michael cook it's a tie between Woe, is me-era tyler and emarosa-era jonny for me both singers are incredible though
At 1:45 he sings over the band with no mic.
Are you sure it isn’t the crowd? I can’t tell
@@joshuagavaghan224 pretty sure that was him because he's pretty fuckin loud when he sings
💯 he does
Joshua Gavaghan it’s him. The note sounds pretty in key to me
@@squidsquirthd2684 It's both in key and his tone and distortion style.
I want this album played at my funeral.
1:44 you can actually hear him with no mic, crazy
It's a backtrack playing lol
@@Jamartlkr Citation needed
@@Jamartlkr no its not lol
Back before the addiction took over.
When he cared about how he sounded on stage.
I miss this Jonny.
Nah. He was high during this performance. Being on drugs never changed his live performance.
+Elgin Coates lmao yeah look at his slumped eyes he's on heroine
Or just smoked weed and drank just saying guys he did a lot more than heroin and none the less if y'all haven't heard his new album Beautiful Death with SLAVES y'all are missing out. IMO it's his best work
Placeb0Effect heroine actually.. :/
Hate to burst your bubble but he's been on drugs since before he was ever in DGD.
This is such a classic
A video that really set me on my way musically in high school. Appreciative of the talent

miss these days of emarosa....
I'm not wearing any earphone right now, but I can still hear Jonny's powerful voice.
Im so happy this video exists, my god what a fucking performance. Good times.

Literally speechless....
I love that when he sings his entire body freezes because he puts that much into it. Perfect
i really just cant get enough of this....
that was crazy man his voice is freaking awsome!
Some people just don’t know. But if you know, you KNOW. Legendary vocals. Legendary era. Sounded like this every time I went.
he does something very well thats very hard to do, hes able to hold his voice on the verge of screaming and singing and make it sound good. very few people can pull it off
he most certainly does. his voice is so legit, even live.

i think he was talking about the song that emarosa wrote back when it was still chris's band and not jonny's yet.
If only people could let go of the past-.- Drugs change people bro.

he does it like a true rockstar, hes fucked up at least 3 different ways
@JeffblinkHardy
he said signed witt a band. as in three of his bands are signed.

he reminds me of Dallas Green from Alexisonfire and City and Colour
Agreed VVVVV... but the powerful vocals also made an excellent introduction on the album.
