This definitely makes more than one loaf. I used a 9x5 pan and as it baked, spilled over onto my oven. New rule: use a baking sheet underneath all pans. Had I split the batter and also made a couple mini loaves it would have been easier. Lesson learned. Moist and chocolatey loaf though. But more than one loaf with same batter

Hey! The cake overflowed my pan by a LOT after the first ten minutes in my oven. Cake batter all over my oven floor. What the effing heck!!! Hope it tastes good, oh my gosh it is fabulous. Even after that terrible mess and two burned fingers, the cake is so moist, chocolatey and frosting out of this world. Next time, I'll make two smaller loaves, or do cupcakes with at least one cup of batter...like a reader said above. Great recipe, just know it's too much for one bread pan

Good to know for some. I would just say to the person trying this: Do not use the standard loaf pan size of 8 1/2 x 4 1/4. Most kitchens stock that normal size. Not a huge difference from a 9 x 5…but it does make a difference. Giving this person comment of ‘more than enough batter’ and although the video pan description says 9 x 5 (and apparently worked for her)-you might want to collar it wit parchment paper if you’re worried about spillage. That will coax batter upward and still bake evenly. But I love her channel and recipes.❤️

This looks incredible!!! Question, did you warm the bowl or cream for the chocolate chips to melt so well into the ganache? It is one of the creaminess ganches I've ever seen 😵😊👍
I was wondering the same thing I think it would take the sweetness away because the cake is using 1 cup of cocoa which has little sweetness. It's just not enough sugar in the recipe. 1cup of coffee would make the cake bitter. Just my opinion. BTW I made your crunch cake it's delicious 😋
@@Pinky-55-60 the coffee is just there to enhance the chocolate flavor, the coffee flavor will not come through. You can also do 1/2 of coffee and 1/2 of hot water, hope this helps! :)
I've seen this in my recommended videos every day since it was released and I've refused to watch it because I'll HAVE to make it. Today I broke down and watched it. And made my shopping list for things and I don't have and wrote down the recipe. Told ya I shouldn't have watched it. 😋

Just a word of warning, this recipe makes more batter than you need for one loaf pan. You could do a loaf and a dozen cupcakes.
Indeed, i didn’t realize and it overflowed in my oven. I was able to fix but it is misleading that she uses a 9x5 pan

Yes I made it as well, and needed to use a bigger loaf pan, and still had more to make a small mini bundt cake, but it was really good!

I really don't like coffee but I think I'll try it anyway since there's only 1/2 tbsp in the whole thing. Looks good.
U won't even taste d coffee in it. Coffee is used in most chocolate cakes
