This is an overview of the Arc'teryx Atom SL Hoodie. It's similar to the Atom LT but with the SL it means Super Light, so it uses ultra-lightweight materials, improving packing and wear while reducing bulk. It’s a lightly insulated, seasonal jacket with a hood to get you through those cooler fall days.
The hydrophobic tech of the Atom jacket series offers midlayer insulation and water-resistance in a lightweight package with high stretch. This jacket is almost a fleece layer, kind of a windbreaker, but has breathable panels on each side. Though there’s DWR, it isn't repellent enough to be a rain jacket. This jacket is perfect for casual wear and can be used for all four seasons. Great for summer nights, excellent for fall and spring and it works as a mid-layer for winter.
The Atom SL’s fabrics are selected to manage moisture and provide comfort while on the move. It’s a well constructed comfortable jacket that strikes a good balance between weather resistance and breathability.
