@IceManIsaac Good to know it isn't just me. My Envision is doing that crash thing. And almost always at the worst possible time. I've gotten pretty good at the ctrl-alt-del, end task iCue, and then reopen the program. Still sucks. Have you come up with maybe a hardware mappings setting that it will default to when the software crashes?
Also I have noticed that if I shut down iCue before I start playing and then start it back up, the crash seems to happen less often. Still happens, but not as much. I can't swear it's really thing but it definitely seems to happen less often.
@@imChefz I'm like 99% sure it won't work. It utilizes Corsair iCue software for the mappings. Also a lot of the advantage with it is being able to map keyboard key binds to it. That would be basically useless on an Xbox or PS5. As would the g-keys. And it uses a Bluetooth slipstream dongle thing. I don't think that would play well with console either. I could be wrong. People find weird work arounds to stuff all the time. But I'm pretty sure it won't just work unless you or someone else figures out some weird voodoo to backdoor it or something.
Love the Envision. My favorite bind is binding the “R” keyboard key to my left shoulder button for reload. I know longer have to worry about picking up a different weapon in chaotic moments where there’s a shit ton of loot on the ground. This also makes it to where you don’t have to hold your X button to reload when you’re standing on loot if you use the “Priority Interact” setting for warzone.
Thank you for your time, Respectfully, I suggest that you keep the power management on normal on the video card, go to program settings, search for your game, and select max power for that specific game; that keeps your GPU idle when you do not play games; it will kick on full power ones you launch the game.
Isaac these settings had me at my best FPS output ever at 1440 on a RTX3080. The new 551.61 nvidia update has trashed my FPS. I went back and reset all my settings again but I lost a lot of frames overall. I’m looking forward to an update to this video if you encounter the same issues.
I have played on these settings for 2 days now. I am stunned. I thought you were crazy playing in 4k. But I said why not, let’s give it a go. I get more consistent frames and higher FPS in 4k! It looks insanely more clear now. Thanks for doing this video!
Absolutely changed my experience. Went from getting 60 ish frames a second to 140 with 120hz at 1080p on my 2060, runs way smoother and allowed me to preform better. Thanks so much!
if you play the game on steam you can use steam's controller settings instead of your normal just base controller and get the same effects as the envision as far as instant slide and instant dive things. You can bind keyboard binds to buttons on the stream controller settings. Me personally I do have the envision because its just so much better but before I was using the steam controller settings and it still works great if you want that instant slide along with instant dive.
@IceManIssac - The Nvidia Low Latency Mode does not work for DirectX-12 games, and according to their documentation, turning it on for DX12 games can cause FPS issues. Just a heads up, thought you and your audience should know.

Ever since the update my envision pro doesn't let me have it on Slide only. My Dive key bind Won't work unless I put it to hybrid or tap to slide. ?????
Pretty sure now with the new hybrid setting u have to set it to hybrid to even have dive usuable. I have a button bound to dive but when i selected slide only it didnt work.

Grounded Mantle should be set to "On", no? Text says On will Climb ground obstacles "using the Jump/Stand/Mantle key." Assumption being if 'Off", you will automatically mantle nearby obstacles - which is the mantle during gunfight scenario you stated.

HUD should not be set to edge. That just means your eyes need to travel a further distance from your gun to the map. Have it set to the middle as much as it'll let you on both vertical and horizontal bounds
in the audio settings try out speaker output stereo instead of windows default and on your windows pc dont use dolby atmos or windows somic its the best audio you can get for footsteps
Good video. Only one thing. Don’t put ”prefer maximum performance” in nvidia control panel. The gpu will be in maximum power while 3d rendering anyways, but with it in standard mode it will be allowed to throttle down during desktop work.

Changing to prefer maximum performance change anything in game. Your gpu will clock to its highest speeds by default when your in mid game. But prefer maximum performance just makes it so even with just being at the desktop your gpu will be at its highest clock all the time not the move
Glad you brought that up about scuff! Might consider another one depending on price cause my first one wasn't worth it. Way over priced and it broke in couple months
Are you still using the Windows Loudness Equalization ( Release time short) ? I feel the sound is terrible in this season specially in Fortunes Keep.. compared to using this feature in Ashika Island, its just too noisy so I am not sure if this should be on or off in this season? Thanks for all the hard work you put into testing and keeping us up to date! Do uncapped FPS work well for you? It creates tearing for me. I have 7800xt & 165hz monitor and the only way I get smooth experience is by using amd chill 163min-163max FPS limit. In game fps limit doesnt work right.
Do you play with Hybrid? If i put slide only my back button don't do anything, but when I use hybrid it works. Only thing is when I use hybrid I get a lot of accidental dolphin dives... Before the update I had slide only and back button for dive only.

Isaac, on the envision i can't get the dive keybind to register with slide only after update (in game or firing range) though it does register with hybrid (not a fan of how often I dive by accident with hybrid) also works with tap to slide enabled but obviously trying to get rid of the slide delay. I have spent hours trying to troubleshoot this, do you have a few mins on discord to give me a hand? (I tried in your chat on Twitch, but obviously youre super busy in game) I basically bought this controller for this function so im super frustrated. Appreciate any help.

I don't think you are correct about crosshairs static and on being the same thing. Yes, they fixed the initial point when you first ADS. But it still sways after a bit of time. Also, the sway from strafing is still there. Anyway, this is my understanding and why I won't set it to static.

yep, if the game supports nvidia reflex then you should not enable low latency settings in the control panel.

Good looks on the tactical set to mouse 3. I've been using that for my lethals since MW 2019.

Fixed. I said F it and deleted all the cod files and now it saves all my settings
They need to take off the audio for airstrikes, at least for a setting in audio to take off.

Nividia on + boost is determined by whether you are CPU bound or GPU bound
