Poor guy man I can see the pain in his face. With every negative comment his whole demeaner just gets lower and energy less. He put a lot of effort and time into this. I know for myself whenever I put out a new song and it doesnt get the feedback I thought it would its soul crushing. He will improve from this because he always does and gets better, its why hes so successful but honestly feel so bad for him.
I think the problem people have with the show in general was what they got is not what they expected. The show itself was good, the stage looked great, having all the artists perform on it was great, etc. The problem is that I and many people had the impression that the show would be a lot more than music, I remember you saying that the show was a “once in a lifetime experience”, “would break the internet”, etc. Also the picture of you and logan in the ring gave the impression that the show was going to be more than music, and while I knew you werent going to be boxing him, I expected more than a 1 minute clip at the end, and with that clip coming after people just saw a show that didnt live up to their expectations, they got pissed lol, you can even see the moment in the chat when it happened lol. Overall, people expected the show to be 50% music, rather than 80%, with the other 20% being mediocre skits. It is what it is, I hope you can learn from this experience and come back stronger. I thought it was actually creative on JJ’s part. I did NOT see any of the performers lip sync at all. The dancers were amazing. I will admit if he was going to tell a life lesson on his life I would have picked different instances and/or more impactful people. Plus some of the skits were cringey. Overall I thought it was decent with all the different artists who had great performances, the dancers as I mentioned before were fantastic and the overall project had a lot of thought behind it. He did this for his fans so you can’t really hate on someone who goes the extra mile/to these extremes to make others happy. I’m sure these extras cost a ridiculous amount of money. Be grateful that he cares! Congratulations on the new album JJ... I like the majority of the songs. They are all pretty catchy but there are some I would skip. Overall job well done.

Honestly ppl went in with a wrong mindset, they thought jj would recreate his whole life in the show. It was obviously going to be a concert. The show was a day after the album release and it was obvious by most of the ppl he was announcing to b on the show (Musical artists). I thought it was going to b a concert mostly and it was, I enjoyed it a lot. I had a blast watching it, more than worth the money I paid
me too, i got a little mad when i saw some of the reddit comments making it out like JJ never looks at his reddit when we all know that he checks it as often as possible and sends posts to the boys even when He's not filming. like you said, he's been real with us for as long as I can remember watching him. Honestly I don't think it was 'overhyped' as such, more he was extremely excited to share with us something he has been working on for nearly a year.
It really shows how JJ laughs to cope with the hard time he is having. He's got so many achievements and sooner or later something like this was going to happen. He is handling better then anyone I've seen getting criticized.

Poor guy man I can see the pain in his face. With every negative comment his whole demeaner just gets lower and energy less. He put a lot of effort and time into this. I know for myself whenever I put out a new song and it doesnt get the feedback I thought it would its soul crushing. He will improve from this because he always does and gets better, its why hes so successful but honestly feel so bad for him.
I think the problem people have with the show in general was what they got is not what they expected.
The show itself was good, the stage looked great, having all the artists perform on it was great, etc.
The problem is that I and many people had the impression that the show would be a lot more than music, I remember you saying that the show was a “once in a lifetime experience”, “would break the internet”, etc. Also the picture of you and logan in the ring gave the impression that the show was going to be more than music, and while I knew you werent going to be boxing him, I expected more than a 1 minute clip at the end, and with that clip coming after people just saw a show that didnt live up to their expectations, they got pissed lol, you can even see the moment in the chat when it happened lol.
Overall, people expected the show to be 50% music, rather than 80%, with the other 20% being mediocre skits.
It is what it is, I hope you can learn from this experience and come back stronger.

I thought it was actually creative on JJ’s part. I did NOT see any of the performers lip sync at all. The dancers were amazing. I will admit if he was going to tell a life lesson on his life I would have picked different instances and/or more impactful people. Plus some of the skits were cringey. Overall I thought it was decent with all the different artists who had great performances, the dancers as I mentioned before were fantastic and the overall project had a lot of thought behind it. He did this for his fans so you can’t really hate on someone who goes the extra mile/to these extremes to make others happy. I’m sure these extras cost a ridiculous amount of money. Be grateful that he cares! Congratulations on the new album JJ... I like the majority of the songs. They are all pretty catchy but there are some I would skip. Overall job well done.

The show was a day after the album release and it was obvious by most of the ppl he was announcing to b on the show (Musical artists). but criticism is a good thing. criticism can actually help you be better and it doesn't matter if it is good or bad criticism. I never understand why people are getting mad and start blocking people when they got criticised. There is a big difference between criticism and comments like "it was trash".

Watching this two years later. JJ probably won't see this, but the KSI show was pretty good in retrospect. You could clearly tell he put a LOT of time and effort into it, and it showed in comparison to nearly every other youtubers version (like Tanacon ((emphasis on con) etc.) Big respect to JJ for trying something like this.
