Hi Sis Velile I have some great news to share on your birthday. With just being 25, I bought a huge vacant plot ( I believe it was on auction) in Limpopo at a very affordable price using the change of my scholarship money(and the one I get from the part time jobs I get at the university) that I have been saving. I was bold enough to travel all the way from the Eastern Cape to Limpopo all alone. However, the real estate agent was so kind enough to book for me a lodge with me not paying any cent. I will never forget what happened that day because God is just amazing. I come from the Eastern Cape and most people were asking me why I bought a vacant land so far. My response has been that because you were born in a certain area, studied there etc, your life does not necessarily need to revolve there too. Sometimes for you to grow you need to be elsewhere so that your life visions can come into reality. I have been stressed about learning the Sepedi language since I am from a province that's mostly Xhosa. However, something reminded me that I will adapt and I should now focus on developing the land. My plan is to mostly play a pivotal role in developing the area and bring businesses that mostly exist in big cities closer to the community. I had a great conversation with someone the other day that side, telling him the importance of bringing businesses that exist in the city to townships, and rural areas. It is high time to focus on developing such areas especially with the look of how fragile our economy is. It is funny how one lady made a comment that I am leaving the beach etc in the Eastern Cape and going there, I was shocked by people's reactions. I guess I have taken a very unique-bold step. Somehow though I felt safe in Limpopo and the area I stay at reminds me of home in the rural Eastern Cape although it's 60% rural and 40% urban both lifestyle and area wise. Pray for me that I finish my Masters in Mathematical Statistics this year so that I can continue with my journey. Thank you for inspiring me and I am patiently waiting to see where the universe will take me!
Congratulations, may the good Lord bless you and expand your territory 🙏🏾 What's your FB or Instagram handle, I'd love to follow your progress on the project . You're blessed 😇
That fire place was a brilliant idea. Other than cooking, it can be used to relax at night. I miss old days when we used to sit around the fire in winter at night. Sitting indoors can be depressing sometimes. Lovely video.
Oh my goodness. You have just made my day with this update on yourself. I am loving everything about this. I am motivated to do more. Good luck with everything and please invite me when you start building so that we can inspire others. All the best with your studies too. You inspire. 🙏🏾❤️
Do you know how much (as much as I love NYC and what it offers) I cannot stand living in my city now. Very little connect to people and neighbors any more, no one smiles at you, we can’t even see the stars anymore. I would love to live, even part time in an SA village. It looks like it brings spiritual peace. Keep up the good works !! Happy another year around the earth. God had been good to you !!
I feel you. City life does that to everyone even here in SA. Yes, please take a breather and visit RSA rural. Let us know when you come this side. 🙏🏾❤️
