I would like to thank you for the time helping those who want to learn to play guitar.
I know keyboard theory in my younger days, and over the years I have self-taught my way in playing the Guitar. I be signing up for social security next week and my pain is to start a tribute band, Call the 7 lost songs from Simple Faith. And I would like to email them to you. I can play two of the songs off the CD but It takes more time and effort to go from keyboard to guitar, and you make it so easy when you teach. The lost songs from a CD Called Simple Faith are really awesome from a local young man named Shawn McDonald who is a music director at a Church I visited in1997. I pick up his CD from him at a Sunday service and headed back to Ohio were I lived. Later on I moved to Florida, and for sixteen years I have been publishing six Gazettes community news papers under Dunndeal publication.com, a direct mailed Christian Education Community paper. I happen to run in to Shawn last week at a church called Journey, and I told him that learned 2 of songs and have been playing them. Then I ask if he wrote those songs and he said yes. And again I said that those songs are right up there with Joy fm radio and should be heard. So then I ask him if it would be ok to send the songs to you to see if Joy fm could be played on the air. And he said sure that would be ok with him. Because I had the CD I never knew these songs were never on the radio, youtub or any were. Thought I would share this with you. My mission is to take Jesus to the streets here in Tampa bay FL.

Sharoon B. Matt is an awesome teacher. He was "technically" the first teacher (online/in person, doesn't matter to me) I ever had. As for his guitar I think he's using a Taylor 114CE or perhaps 214CE (only answering that because I know he gets really busy with his videos, website, and family). Both are really great guitars with the 214CE having a little more voicing on the lower frequencies (because of the rosewood body). Do check them out and God bless you!

Correct me if I'm mistaken but I believe that IS finger picking, u may have gotten confused with finger style. Although, it's very simple, I believe it is still finger picking.
