    After seeing the effort level of so many so called top teams come and go depending on who they are playing (see Georgia against Kentucky and Mississippi State), I have tremendous respect and appreciation for Curt Cignetti and Indiana. They are a breath of fresh air and the exception to the rule these days. They have a roster that has just one player that is expected to be drafted into the NFL and yet they win and dominate consistently against teams with superior talent. They don't take games off and they don't even take a single play off. Nothing is taken for granted. Curt Cignetti won't allow it. If they can do things the right way, how come nobody else can? Thank you Curt Cignetti! The game of football needs many, many more people like you!!

    Greg I do like your analysis and knowledge around and about CFB . As a Georgia fan I wanted to respond to your comments on The Georgia Program. I believe you are conflating National Media’s and Bandwagon Fans opinions for True Georgia Fans opinions! The NM and BW Fans was doubting Georgia heavily going into the Texas Game. That was in contrast to the overwhelming majority of Georgia Fans that was confident in Georgia beating Texas! I actually took Georgia on ML and pocketed right at a grand this weekend! Huddle was AFTER the trash was thrown. They rewarded that behavior by giving in. Show me ANY OTHER DPI that has been reversed after being announced... I'll wait. Had the texas fans not thrown trash, the next play would have snapped and the game would have continued just like after EVERY OTHER BAD DPI CALL EVER MADE... Before Saturday night. From now on if a bad call gets called fans will trash the field in hopes of getting the call reversed because that is exactly what happened at that game. I would bet anything that fans will trash the field many more times this year because of this. DPI is non reviewable... NON REVIEWABLE! PERIOD! What do you say to all the other teams that had bad DPI calls against them this year so far.. or in the future. You dont understand how big of a deal this really is. Or you do, being a QB and all and your bosses told you to sweep it under the rug. Say the call was reversed and texas won by 3 from a field goal on that drive. Yeah GA still won but nobody knew that when they reversed the call.

    • @ytadventurer9170
      @ytadventurer9170 6 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

      Exactly, it's NOT that they huddled after the announcement. It's that they huddled after the announcement, after they had already MARKED THE PENALTY, after play had to stop ONLY because things were being thrown onto the field, and ultimately, they only huddled AFTER the replay had been playing on the jumbotron because play had to stop because trash was being thrown onto the field for nearly TEN. MINUTES. No 'official huddle' regarding a penalty has EVER happened so long after a play has occurred in this sport's history. As a Georgia fan, I will 100% agree that the initial call was BS. That wasn't pass interference. It shouldn't have been called. But bad calls happen, and the game goes on. The game in this case did NOT go on, because the Texas fans threw a fit. The officials did not huddle to reconsider the penalty until AFTER they threw a fit. By overturning the call, their horrendous behavior was rewarded, and that sets a precedent that is FAR worse than any bad call that has impacted any game in history.

    So, on his Sunday show, Greg ignored the horrific officiating and merely called it "weird," but 24 hours later, he takes over 5 minutes to discuss it. Can we surmise, he felt the sting of valid criticism, forcing him to actually take a stand? And what was that "courageous" stand he landed on? "The officials got it right," and why are we spending days talking about something that was merely "bad optics"? In order to pretzel himself into that heroic stand (sarcasm intended), he had to make an astonishing claim -- the original call was never overturned, according to Greg. Stop believing your lying eyes, football fans. Now, let me confess that I did not watch the game, and I did not see footage of exactly the sequence of events following the defensive pass interference flag. Greg claims that the only thing "wrong" was that the referee announced the penalty and then consulted with the other officials about the call when the order should have been the exact opposite. Ok. If that is what actually happened, Greg may have a point, but other analysts saw something different. What others said, was that not only did the referee announce the call, but he also did much more. He walked off the penalty yardage against Texas AND PUT THE BALL IN PLAY. If that is what actually happened, then I don't see how Greg can possibly argue that the original call was never overturned. Kirby Smart was right there on the field and what he saw was a defensive pass interference call being overturned. The TV announcers appeared to see it that way also. But Greg McElroy, hundreds of miles away in Knoxville, Tennessee knows better. I call professional malpractice on Greg McElroy. If he wanted to make that incredible claim, he was obligated to show the actual tape that proved his point. He showed us nothing.

Georgias average starting field position was like the Texas 30 yard line. They didn’t have much field to go 😂 Texas did hold them to a couple field goals on short fields so they definitely played well. I think if UGA started on their own 30 or 35, Georgia has 350+ yards of offense. 🤷‍♂️ just my 2 cents for what it’s worth. I know. That’s not much 😂 love your stuff Greg! Keep it up

      I am not a Georgia fan (I have to suffer most years as a Vandy fan), and I want calls to be correct. But you make a false, unsupported statement. You "assumed" that anyone (but especially Georgia fans) who called bulls**t on what happened was totally unconcerned about getting calls correct. You have no right and no evidence to attack any fan in that manner. The call was terrible, and I have yet to hear a single Georgia fan argue otherwise. But how many teams have suffered or benefitted from bad calls concerning pass interference? The answer is that many teams have been in that situation. The difference is that NONE of them got the bad call changed because a student mob pitched a juvenile hissy fit. I hear Texas will be trying to identify those students who threw things on the field. Wake me up when that ever happens.

      That is both rude and uncalled for. I have labeled Greg's argument and position on this issue as journalistic malpractice, but using his mistake to take a cheap shot at Alabama alum is unsportsmanlike conduct. Shame on you.

    Appreciate the ranking, but then comes the backhanded compliment. Undefeated but no good wins?! Huh? We just beat Louisville, Vtech (who are on a roll); and Cali on the road. Oh and don’t forget about Florida in the swamp who barely lost to Tennessee who just beat Alabama and who just beat Kentucky.

      A bunch of mid to bad teams. That's all you listed. And the Florida take. A team that almost beat a team that beat a team that isn't great this year. Man you are reaching. It's ok, Miami's schedule is softer than soft. Just win the ACC and it won't matter Miami played nobody.

      @@Michigan_Spyglasses I would rather reach with an undefeated record than not reach with a loss or two. You play who is in front of you. All the teams ahead of Miami has had at least two mediocre performances with losses. In fact Georgia who just beat Texas best Kentucky by ONE and Mississippi at by just ten. The worst team in the SEC.

      Georgia just crushed TX and rolled Clempson. I'd bet my house Georgia would roll Miami. Georgia has struggle bus wins every year, yet they've proven they belong. Not the team I'd use as an example.
