@4:15 if you are having trouble finding that "circle" function - I got it to work in v2.91 by enabling loop tools add-on in preferences, and then when I duplicated the face, switch to edge mode (shortcut "2") and then use Loop Tools>Circle on right click menu.
Please don’t leave us hanging I’m making a game with this art style and those racing tutorials are so easy to understand please continue. AI, laps with a finish, levels, menu and so much more
@23:10 if you are having trouble getting Shift-N to get the menu to recalculate Roll for the bone axes, this will not work if you are in Pose Mode - use CTRL+TAB to switch to Edit Mode, then Shift-N should work for you. Then at 23:40 choose to invert the X as the dialog is now changed slightly in V.2.91 from what is shown in the tutorial.
Thank you so much for your tutorials. I even made a kind of summary (Word file) for all functions you use. It's amazing how you managed to find the right, most useful functions for 3D modeling
I love your content, especially when you rig and animate, I installed blender for less than a week and almost everything i learned was through you, i got a mec and a lava monster animated, and some maps 5star content here
I enjoyed this video a lot. I like seeing how you put the models together and I especially like seeing the additional steps to rig them. Really brings them to life.
Whoa! Bake Axis Conversion will auto fix the axis of the gizmo that is amazing! I'm thrilled about it creating empties for every object kind of gets old lol Hopefully if I watch enough of these Ill be able to do character animation as well (learning a lot from these modeling videos keep up the fantastic work!)
I love your step-by-step on the rigging, and giving the reasoning too. Kinda sad that Blender's auto symmetrize is so whack that you have to take all these adjustment steps for a basic humanoid character, tho.
You know that Blender has a feature coming up in the next release that uses a live link to send straight to Unreal Engine right? The two will be perfectly integrated! Animations, textures, rigs, transforms... I can't wait!
I really like your approach to animation, I wish you made another tutorial for animations where you animate and rig animals or monsters with different armatures. Keep up the good work dude!
Ah, these non-planar n-gons. You can take those faces you created from random faces and make them planar a couple of different ways. One is to search for the "Make planar faces" command and use that with the new face selected. The other, and my preferred method, is to, in edit mode, scale by the Z and type "0" to flatten it.
Great Video as always. I'd like to see an animation tutorial for noobs like me. In two weeks my vacation starts and I'd like to try my hands on something like that. Thanks mate
Is it okay to have unconnected geometry , I mean u duplicated faces and pushed them into the mesh , but when is this fine to do and when is it not to , can u explain ,,, thank you in advance
Hello! Im having a problem with the armature. This will be my second day working on this robot :) I used to use blender about 4 years ago. Now, thanks to you, im back into it! Learning all the new blender 2.8 stuff! Here's my problem, I copy your knee bone (IKPole.R) to a tee. Once i get the armature situated, when i move the foot bone (IKTarget.R) the leg starts to go crazy, tons of clipping and sorts. Any ideas how to fix this :/
im new to your channel and i love your videos! you made me love blender and i also use unity as my game engine but i have a problem exporting with the textures. im using your colorizing technique but because its just colors and not materials its just grey in Unity. how do i export it with all of its colors?
i hate rigging. but i has to be done, no easy fix, i tried so many including ARP4 and it fails me. i enjoyed the longer in depth video. one of these a month be cool
Is it possible for you to show us key animations you use for games you create with characters such as walk/ run cycles, jump cycles and attacks?? Ones you have made in blender without makimo I find your videos so helpful but my animations are lacking and I was hoping you would show a tutorial of them.
_I just did the same thing as you did by seeing this video. It is nearly take 2 hours for me. Just now I started to learn unity through your videos._ *And I just did this model can I implement this in to my game?..*

I loved the animation part. Would like to see more animation stuff :)
He should to a 10 minute Animate Series after making Robots, Humans, Ships and Creatures.
The bonus content was awesome!
You can bridge edge loops on opposite faces to punch a hole through an object. No need to delete faces and then bridge edge loops. It saves a step.
Just tried that and it works!!!

Every new tutorial inspires me to make a game with the model 😅. Very quick, helpful & amazing tutorials 👍
You deserve 1,000,000 subs man. That day will come!
...or 10,000,000

Awesome Video as usual. I love how you always reinforce every thing and actually tell us what your doing.
I enjoyed this video a lot. I like seeing how you put the models together and I especially like seeing the additional steps to rig them. Really brings them to life.

This content is fantastic! Tack Stefan!
I love your step-by-step on the rigging, and giving the reasoning too.
Kinda sad that Blender's auto symmetrize is so whack that you have to take all these adjustment steps for a basic humanoid character, tho.
I really enjoyed the awkward fumbling of language to try avoid the demonetization monster...

Maybe a robot cat.
@@ultragirl3886 . . . with a mini gun on its back . . . :)
LOVE your low poly videos!!! Yes, please do Unreal Engine, too! :)
Very nice bonus content!
Absolutely agree)
I really like your approach to animation, I wish you made another tutorial for animations where you animate and rig animals or monsters with different armatures. Keep up the good work dude!
Great tutorials, fluid and straight to the point. I'm trying to develop a game with a buddy right now and these are great for inspiration!
This was great as always, well done! If you're taking requests: I really want to see a quadruped modeled (low poly cat!) and rigged/animated!
Thank you !
Nice work !!
Excellent!
Thanks.

You should try to make a high-poly model sometime please.
THE KRAKEN
Yas
BTW The Kraken model has almost half a million polygons so...
@@aw_dev I was thinking like a human character, but that would be too difficult.
@@fatcat5323 Yeah, the sculpting is pretty hard.
Nice tutorials man! But all your models have a rounded edge feeling! Is this because that texture?
How do you get the see the edges differently?
This was epic! Really inspiring!
👏
Thank you! 🙏
Great Video as always.
I'd like to see an animation tutorial for noobs like me. In two weeks my vacation starts and I'd like to try my hands on something like that. Thanks mate
More bonus content please
but how small did you scale it, and how far above the ground did you raise it before starting the torso? :(
Really cool....
Fantastisk kanal! En stad på 10 minuter vore intressant, kanske Stockholm? Eller Visby?
Is it okay to have unconnected geometry , I mean u duplicated faces and pushed them into the mesh , but when is this fine to do and when is it not to , can u explain ,,, thank you in advance

Hey, nice video. COuld you include which addons you are using in the descriptions. So far I see you need Auto-mirror and also Loop tools.
Thanks for the video :)

I'm watching your TH-cam videos from Nepal; a country of Himalaya. Please make a series of video tutorials explaining each and every steps .
What is the difference between alt + S and just S?
Maybe make a basic animation tutorial like you did for low poly modeling?
Hi
Can u upload the episode 6 of unity and blender tutorial
Rigging is a pain in hell so, we need more tutorials about it, please.
How would I do the animation if the gun is separately rigged, and keep inside the same "action" as the body?
i hate rigging. but i has to be done, no easy fix, i tried so many including ARP4 and it fails me. i enjoyed the longer in depth video. one of these a month be cool
The intro gave me a heart attack :P
Ywahhhhhhhhh, imoheniza vdo
that intro scared the crap out of me
Are you still working on That's Racing? It was looking great but i didn't see any updates in years.
Is it possible for you to show us key animations you use for games you create with characters such as walk/ run cycles, jump cycles and attacks??
