Such an amazing man, Stew Paquette and his museum is surely one of a kind. So sad for your loss of this amazing person, my condolences to the Paquette family and all those who knew him.
I had the pleasure of knowing Mr. Stew Paquette and he was a fine man. My wife and I went on the Caribbean cruise that his museum sponsored in 2016 and I spent a whole week on a cruise ship interacting with him at various functions centered around tractors and tractor collecting. Stew Paquette was the kind of person that wanted everybody around him to be happy. I had not seen him in a couple years before his passing. My wife and I have not been to Florida in several years but we had talked about the fact that we would like to go by the museum and see Mr. Paquette atleast one more time before something happened. Time gets away fast and when the old men are gone they are gone forever.
It's sad to see such a wonderful collection go away. All too often the dream stops with the departure of the one who started it all. I wish I could've seen this...
People like stew are very few and hard to come by. This is why every time I see a tractor or piece of equipment that I haven't seen before or don't have, I try and buy it. Most of my collection comes from scrap yards. Preserving history that might never be able to come back.
Thank You for the video of this unique person ! & his passion for the I/H brand , I do remember a couple of episodes of his landmark collection of these fine I/H products , & watching them on Classic Tractor Fever with my old cable provider ( DISH ) & my current provider doesn't carry your show ! But I'm glad that I subscribe to your channel on TH-cam ! But it's not the same as when I tuned in every Sat. morning . R.I.P. Stew Paquette & I hope You get all the seat time You want in heaven .
I was looking for what each item brought at the auction. I did not know about it or never visited the museum. Looks like he did allot in 20 years and I am sure spent allot of money doing it. At least the items were not scrapped and someone has them to use. My feeling is that my hobby is my hobby so when I am gone, do with it what you want. I do not want to burden anyone thinking they have to keep my stuff.

This is why I have mixed feelings when I go to an estate sale or estate auction. This isn't just crap someone wants to get rid of, this is something someone worked for a lifetime to get all of the stuff. This was someone's dream that took a lifetime to come true just to be separated in only a few minutes. RIP Stew
That's a sad day and that makes me mostly 100% depressed why can't they keep the museum open do they not have the money to keep it open or could it not be sent to a non-profit that could keep an open for them cuz that's impressive it's sad when things get destroyed that have been kept so nice
This is my favorite channel overall... But you need to be more up to date to help people bid on people that matters... Please help people help you by being more up to date...
International Harvester used to be a well-run company with a wide variety of products. What happened to them? Mismanagement? Probably make an excellent college case study.
Seems like a great guy, would of been nice to meet him.
Thank you for caring stew.
Love his museum been lucky to have been there twice
Bummer, but there will be a some lucky fellas to keep these tractors going!

Its sad I have my grandfather's 130 I could never sell it.

RIP Stew
he was kind enough to do an interview for my channel
Less than 2 hours away and I squandered my chance to go see this incredible museum.
It wasnt meant to be
My kind of place!
That 560 is a nice looking tractor.
On the surface looks like greed.
What a way to honor the man.

Great collection 👍🏻🇺🇸
R.I.P. Stew!🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Great story
And I'll be adding that to off my bucket list since it was a plan to make it out that way
Sadly they auctioned everything off after stew passed away.

Can you do one for Bruce Reeder of Delaware you did a episode on him for his john deere l collection rip stew
Sorry the family couldn't continue his dream.
Stew says it's being destroyed and WE'RE trying to save some history . Apparently his relatives don't agree 💲💲💲💲
Is there going to be a part 2 of the collection before it’s auctioned off by any chance
Yeah now they have sold all his stuff after years of accumulation. Sad
Sad that the passion has not been passed on
@@darinmullins4770 Darin you are totally right. People nowadays don't give a rats azz .
@@dr.michaelwilliams9898 unfortunatly its just dollars they see instead of their history and culture being lost forever .
I wish that i was smart enough , gifted enough or connected enough to get funding or a patron to keep this alive for the sake of America .🇺🇸

It's the same story all over. The guy builds this beautiful collection, and the family just wants the money
What a shame all that is gonna be sold and split up. Man oh man
The family had to make the difficult decision to sell off everything and make a pisspot full of money 💰
@@Fairlane55 difficult?
I doubt it was difficult, they just want the cash and could care less of their fathers wishes or legacy
@user-ck9go4my4m Yes that's exactly what I meant.
@@Fairlane55 I kinda figured that, sarcasm doesn't translate well online
@user-ck9go4my4m Yes I should've typed "difficult" in quotation marks Lol

The family is selling it all that’s horrible
When you have a ton of money and start getting bored.
