I have this pack and I'm a larger bodied person with a big belly. I agree that the cinch belt is too narrow and that the buckle digs into my belly painfully - BUT an easy fix - I take a hiking hand towel or my buff and fold it under the buckle so it provides padding. With that it's pretty comfortable! It's a good pack!

The Osprey Tempest and Talon are just one example, with proportions that should enhance each user's overall comfort level. In this case, it may be the length of the wings of the hip belt or any other small design cue that would benefit being a woman's fit.

Can any water bottle be used? Or has to be osprey specific bottle? The bag I bought did not come with bottles
Certain iterations of this bag do not include water bottles, but any water bottle that fits in the pocket can be used!

It says for women but looks like men can use it as well.??
Though this model is made with some women's specific features in mind, if it fits it could be used by any user!
