Well let's get this straight! I was there and the vast majority of the men in Discos back in the day were definately "straight white males!"

All four Gibb brothers in this video: Barry, Robin, Maurice, and Andy. ❤
Fun fact: Michael Jackson went on record saying that the "Saturday Night Fever" soundtrack was an inspiration for his album "Thriller." There should be video of him talking about it in an interview on TH-cam. The Bee Gees, in particular Barry Gibb, were very close with Michael Jackson. Barry and Michael even did a duet together. Barry's youngest son is named Michael (after Michael Jackson) and Michael Jackson was Michael Gibb's godfather.

HBO did a documentary on The Bee Gees and it was so good that I watched it twice. Probably will watch it again.

Great rendition of the 4 Bee Gees. The Bee Gees announced Andy Gibb would be officially joining their group as the fourth Bee Gee in 1988, but the youngest Gibb died just months later. React to "Fanny, Be Tender with My Love" and you will hear how well Maurice, Barry & Robin harmonize, they sound like one. "Lonely Nights" is a gr8 older song before Barry was using his falsetto voice. "Spirits Having Flown" from the album of the same name is awesome; try to use the video of the BGs Live at their Miami home. Andy is in that one. New Subbie. 😎

FYI everyone was dancing in the day, only the racist status quo media and powers that be did not like disco.

This particular video with the John Travolta dance stuff added in does not have the original concert audio. They replaced it with the audio from the studio album. You can see the original concert video with the audio intact here th-cam.com/video/_6MR-E_Qzz0/w-d-xo.html

Well, the disco-burning thing in Chicago was indeed a crime! Kinda racism and also against diversm-attack, it's been. Very silly, but it wouldn't have meant anything if not US-radiostation used that happening to put out Bee Gees-songs from their playlists. That's the only thing that matters about it. Check'em out with 'Spirits Having Flown', just to get into the right spirit.
