I am using this amp now, works and sounds great...! With the APF1D, BUT I'm planning on swapping the APF1D for the new Forza AF M5.11 and use the APF8.9 (with 2-channels bridged) as the Companion amp, so I can use the new software and get two more channels for rear speakers...

I am planning to upgrade my '06 Dodge Durango SLT, it's just the simple factory radio. My upgrade I'm thinking a single-din, as I don't want to mess up my dash on my first install. The radio I'm planning to purchase is Pioneer DEH-x8800BHS. I'm not sure on the four door speakers and dash tweeters yet, and recommendations? Maybe install the Kenwood Amp KAC-M1814. @five star car audio do you verify those delays with measurements? because aren't subs often seen as "further away" than physical distance when it comes to time alignment?
I just installed a Rockford 5ch. Mini amp using 2awg with a 150 fuse & distribution blocks for power & ground & down to 4awg but it's getting real hot,but da cheap dual amp I took off using 8awg didn't get hot so y it's getting so hot dat I can't touch it thanks hope to hear from u asap..???

I plan on using the Audison AP8.9 bit DSP Amplifier to upgrade my OE car amplifier together with Hertz MP25.3 tweeters and MP70.3 midrange speakers. The Hertz tweets and mids dont come with crossover network or any inline filters. Will I need to purchase a separate crossover network or will the Audison AP8.9 bit Amplifier take care of the filtering process for all the car speakers? Thanks in advance.

I just programmed the software with that configuration and it is available. You can run the software in a demo mode. You can down load it from their website

I've heard the JL is easier to use, but I don't really wanna run a fix 86 as I doubt my HU has that much time alignment especially when the DTS setting is off (new honda platform). w/ AudioControl I'd run a DM 810 w an ACM 4.300 for the mids and highs and a LC 4.800 for the mid woofers and rear coax.
Please help! Can anyone tell me how to perform a hard reset on the Audison Forza AP F8.9 bit? It won't power on, so I can't connect it to my PC, and I've already checked all the essential connections.
Looking at ordering this for 2017 F150 Limited w/Sony factory system. Would you leverage its integration with Idatalink AR to get input, or use a pac amppro and run optical to it?
Anybody in 5star land using this with a center channel? I dont normally use one, but my car has one factory so i thought i might give it a try. How well does the upmixer for the center work?

Mine(Audison F8.9 bit) died right after one year and 8 months. Just don't buy this crap. I spent a lot of money on it and I had higher expectations. I did some research on the interned and others have the same issue. Be warned before purchasing.

You can install it.. bet you can't tune it. This thing is a beast and after owning it for over a month, I'm still tuning it.

Those amps get super hot. We beat them hard with no issues. The biggest concern is the heat but they just don’t quit.
