We do an unconventional morning basket. With a 3yr old and an 8mos old, we have a morning basket, but it gets split up between three different times of morning! We have Breakfast and Bible, an hour later we do our History and Read Aloud, then around lunch we do our Beauty subjects (hymn, poetry, Geography, Character, nature reader, Artist and Composer study)😊
My kids love morning basket! We keep it super simple but it still takes about an hour. We do Bible reading…straight from the source…a ROL, random animal facts books which lead to YT videos, random books on people or whichever Holiday we might be near and finish with a picture book.🙂
My parents were missionaries and basically my dad pastored a church there until I was around 30. So born and raised there. Only moved to Canada when I was 19 for university. And now I live in the US…

That sounds like a great way to do it! And I can see how weird little ones that would work better.

It is crazy how a simple morning basket can end up an hour long, huh? I love it!

It’s been so fun and informative!
Do you do a "morning time" or have a morning basket? If so, what were some of your favorite things right now?

Being an Indian I could suggest this book "Let's Go Time Travelling: Life in India, Through the Ages".
