I'm stuck in Texas right now because of the pandemic. So I decided to watch your three music videos to ease my longing to come home. But in particular, this AMFEE song never fail to hit home for me. The line, "Wala namang nakakakilala dahil ako nga'y isa lang anino..." I can relate to this. I grew up with two older sisters who ace in classes, are very active in sports, and are always seen in pageants. I am average, sickly so I can't do sports, and short plus I don't have the same healthy skin like my sisters. It was so hard to live behind their shadows. I was expected to be like them and achieve the same. But, I knew in my heart what I was made for. My path is different from theirs. I saw the culture they made for themselves and that culture doesn't work for me. So, I didn't buy it and I created my own. Despite the judgments from and disappointments of the society, my sisters were my biggest fans. So yea, I am now in the seminary - going on my senior year. This is the culture God has paved the way for me. The church is my field and court, the pulpit is my stage, and God is my judge. I love you AG! You inspire me so much.
