Nice! The strings are the essence of the Jackson’s sound. The strings, horns, and bass line I may include. Ex. Can You Feel It, Shake Your, Show You the Way to Go, etc.
What's amazing is that for as exciting, innovative, and revolutionary as this song is, how massively boring it is listening to all the tracks (minus the vocals) by themselves.
@dominicferrini it's isn't they used LMdrum machine and layered over the top and hard shell drum case being hit with a lump of 2x4. I watch a documentary with Bruce Swedien who was MJ's engineer telling the story about it.
@ Well obviously Bruce can’t stick to his own story.. cause he also said that it was a regular drum kit with microphones hooked up to it, and also that story makes no sense.. the LinnDrum/LM-1 was only used in the demos, it wasn’t heard in the Final Cut
@dominicferrini yes it was used in the final cut but the swoped out the snare for an 808, Anthony Marinelli who programmed the synths on several of the songs on thriller has also talked about the process.
@ Anthony Marinelli is also known for falsely remembering what had actually happened, for an example.. he claimed that the bass from Thriller was an ARP-2600, even though in actuality it’s a Jupiter 8.
7:19. Your welcome and MJ will live on forever in our hearts
the strings just give goosebumps

Michael's vocals*
Michael's vocals. Janet wasn't involved in the music business in 1982.

Amazing how do u get these?
The snare drum in the original recording is a drum case and a length of wood.
No, it’s just a regular drum kit, with multiple microphones attached to each part of the kit
@dominicferrini it's isn't they used LMdrum machine and layered over the top and hard shell drum case being hit with a lump of 2x4.
I watch a documentary with Bruce Swedien who was MJ's engineer telling the story about it.

Bass and drums
What’s the instrument for 5:54
A Lyricon.
@@anwav-thanks
Why TF do you add that reverb to the tracks? Those are just enjoyable without that weird reverb.
What I want to know is this the actual tracks from the original Billie Jean or recreations?.
They're the original stems from the actual recording session.
Thanks I'm working on Billie Jean at the moment using just one synth to make the whole song. Including drums.
