The summer EBT extension for children was up to the state legislators, not the Feds!! Too bad many Red GOP governed states care nothing for low income people!!
I live in Ohio and I'm on SSI when I turn 62 I got a letter from social security saying that I had to apply for social security retirement which made no sense to me because you don't have to apply for retirement at that age you can wait and get more money but if I didn't apply I would lose my SSI so I did what they told me to do and I got $300 and some dollars for retirement but what was the killer is why they had me do that when they took it out of my SSI I get $20 extra I don't understand why they couldn't give people that money on top of the SSI since we earned it why I have a supply early just to take it and just give me $20 extra and then they split it into two payments it makes no sense especially since we're under the poverty little and for the increase in snap I got a letter that I'm getting a $10 increase what a joke when groceries have gone up three or four times higher in price and then the products are not even half the size they used to be
California got pebt on Saturday in the mail! But here’s the thing, my kids were on summer vacation from may 24- august 12th! California should have received their cards first based on what school district is out on break! I hope they can figure it out for next time
