What a bike! I like the way your dad thinks. He and I are of a similar age and are the kind of people that love to 'make stuff'. I'm so glad that both of us have passed on that attitude to our kids.
as you know I have a choice of bikes, but the one I gravitate to is my ktm duke 390. A 125 sized bike with a 50hp punch is the short cut to smiles and youthful hooliganism. Your dad mixed the right ingredients
Nice one Doc, I just love quirky bikes and I’ve always liked bikes like the VanVan in standard form and the TW200 etc. Your Dads ‘Special’ looks freakin’ fantabulous kidda. Regards, Dazza. 🇬🇧
very interesting bike. Every learners dream. A question Is the rear wheel and cush drive standard 125? and does it handle the extra power ok?. Great bike.
Thanks! Yeah it’s a load of fun to have out on the road. Completely standard rear wheel and cush. Had no problems at all and it’s been together now for 14 years. To be fair though my dad isnt riding it in any real aggressive manner, at least not most of the time. It was more about having something super light with plenty of up and go to match todays pace of traffic.

Thanks Neil, yeah I love the "I've bought this one bit, that's the genesis of a whole bike build!"
Your Dad is a true Biker and a genius, Thanks for sharing this beast with us......
Yeah for sure pal, total inspiration always! Thanks for commenting and watching...

Oh yeah, he certainly did.. Question is how did it take 10 years for me to go out on it?

Awesome bike. But it needs some crash bars around those radiators.
