Looks like the Songflower crit buff doesn't stack with the ST world buff, making this less required, but the minmaxers will still want to go for the extra 15 stats though.

I just cleansed a songflower didn't get the buff and plant was not targetable after cleansing either... I feel robbed

So doing the quest just lets you get the buff from any song flower? Vs having to manually fine a cleansed one?
No. Doing the quest (cleansing felwood) allows you to pick up the repeatable quests which reward 2 x Salve. the Salve is used to cleanse a flower!!

Yeah it can get pretty toxic. Finding a good guild is the only way, its tough as a solo
Apparently you dont have to do the pre quest in sod. You just go there and click the flower
