Solid first video brotha, I'll stay around here to see you grow. Thanks for your input on something alot of people are asking & not many have been answering.
Can you explain the advantages of the Beretta pro lifter in the 1301 and will it work in the A300 Ultima Patrol as well? I currently own a 1301 Tactical L. E. with pistol grip, and just ordered the A300 Ultima Patrol. If there are advantages, i will order one for both if they work in both. Thank you! Great video!
What about the rear sights? I know they are different. Does it look like the holes are the same so aftermarket mounts and sight setups like are Aridus industries sight mounts might work???
Thanks. I am waiting for my A300UP to arrive. Should be here tomorrow and I was curious how the two stacked up. Is the magazine tube clamp metal or plastic on the a300?
Not sure if I missed it. Are the stocks interchangeable?? I know they said you can’t have a pistol grip stock but what about the magpul!? Good info. Thanks.
3 questions: How does recoil compare (would my 110lb wife notice a difference)? Is there a noticeable difference between the smoothness of the action of the charging handle/bolt? How does the overall feel of the build quality compare?
I have a 1301 comp that I'll be adding a briley handguard to. It adds weight and from what I read brings the felt recoil down. Plus it looks pretty badass.
Nice video, well explained. Maybe with some video editing it would look even better. The a300 looked great with the 1301 handguard. I'm curious, where are you from? by your accent i'd say nigerian but i'm not quite sure.
You have quite the ear. I am indeed originally from Nigeria. Currently learning more on video editing and cameras in general so I don't have to use my phone
It will be interesting to hear your long term comparison between the merits of the AGS system versus Blink gas-operating system. I don't believe I will ever need know in person as I have used the Beretta 1201 FP inertia system which is much less feature rich by comparison, however unstoppably reliable, not for the recoil sensitive.
Funny that Beretta said on Shot Show, that the A300 handguard would fit the 1301, and that they would sell it separately because of that. Maybe when they release it, it will come with an adapter of some kind. Great video man. Thanks for the good information. What about the stock ? Can you fit that magpul stock on the A300 with the same adapter ?
@@armedimmigrant Damn... That could be a key point on deciding which one to get, for a lot of people. A lot of people love that Magpul shotgun stock. Really sad you can't run it on that one. So you probably can't run a folding one either right ? That's sad. Thx again for the response !
@@ThadeuAzevedo Yeah, Magpul would have to make one, who knows if that will ever happen though, the a300 stock has a channel in for the recoil mechanism which some people have said the recoil impulse on the a300 feels lighter than the 1301, I also like that the a300 is ready to go out the box.
The biggest difference is the recoil mechanism, with the recoil being in stock angle slightly downward should have a reduced felt recoil more. The other affordable shotgun I'm really interested in is the Mossberg 940 Pro Tactical. I had made a down payment at my local shop for either the Mossberg 940 Pro Tactical or Beretta 1301 Tactical and after waiting 9 months I gave up, and transferred my down payment to get the Volquartsen VT2 with both 22 WMR and 17 HMR barrels (recently rediscovered rimfire firearms).
The Pistol Grip 1301 is NOT like a regular 1301 because the Barrel is an Improved Cylinder and does NOT take Choke tubes like the regular 1301 that is because the Pistol Grip model is designed for LAW Enforcement/Military and they do not have a need to change Chokes like a Civilian would. I was looking at getting a 1301 but want to put the Pistol Grip Stock because it is easier for me to shoot but when I went to pick one up at my local gun shop just as I was filling out the 4479 I noticed that the box said Improved Cylinder barrel and when I asked how much would it cost to get the 18.5 inch barrel that takes the Chokes I almost had a STROKE because I was quoted "$675 for the BARREL ONLY" and I know the people that run the shop and I trust them so they were not trying to Steal money from me so now I am trying to decide between the 1301 and the A300 but I would love to know if the A300 going to get a Pistol Grip Stock or if Mesa Tactical going to make one and when I talked to Mesa Tactical they said it was too early for them to say.
@@AmericaFirstKorey When I contacted my wholesaler he explained to me that the Italian made 1301 Tactical with Mesa Tactical looking Urbino Stock is actually made by the same people that make the Benelli LEO M1-M4 Stocks and because of that factor they have an issue when it comes to Civilian Sales because they are not 922R compliant! It is a ROYAL PAIN in the Ass to try to find the Parts to make a 1301 Tactical that comes with the regular stock then has to have the 922R parts swapped to be legal! If getting the 1301 is going to be the same types of issues as getting a Benelli M3 or M4 I think I will spend the extra 600 dollars and get the Benelli M3 which is a shotgun that I am very familiar with and I can have it setup the way I want to.
@@af22raptor23503 I'm fairly certain they're all 922R compliant, they've been available for awhile now in the US in this configuration (7+1 etc). They're assembled in the USA from Beretta USA parts. Only difference in the LE models are non-removable chokes.
Beretta 1301 Comp Pro over an American made, 1 year warrantied, gimmicky Beretta Ultima. I have a faster cycling shotgun, adjustable stock with recoil reduction, 3 chokes.
Would gladly spend the extra 300ish bucks and get the superior beretta 1301. I do not understand this, had they brought it in at the a300 price of 700ish then I would probably get it. But just dumb, really disappointed in beretta. They just came out with a gun that has some different cosmetics and called it a new gun, just dumb.
For your first video I'll say I'm very impressed by the time you took to show and explain all the details. Very cool. Thank you.
Thank you very much for taking the time to watch.
Been looking for a video just like this. Thanks a lot.

Excellent presentation. Man you did a banger of a job on the first video! Great job. Thanks for sharing it!
Question? Do the sight’s interchange?
To the best of my knowledge, No
Do you know if the stocks are interchangeable? Thanks for the video.
Thanks for the very helpful information! Good luck with the channel
very impressive first video but I really subbed because of the channel name. Looking forward to more videos.
Thank you
Great video! I was wondering how they compared.
Thank you for making this video! Great job 🙂
Thank you for taking the time to watch the video. Make sure to check the range video

Yo you picked a hell of a comparison for a first video ever! Keep after it!
Thank you for taking the time to watch
Do the barrels have the same contour? In the video it seems like the 1301 is a little bit thicker at the breach end
The barrel have the exact same contour. The difference is that the 1301 has a longer barrel extention than the A300
New sub! Good content, my 2A brother.
Excellent video, love the comparison and fine details! Thanks!

There is a video on TH-cam that a guy put a 1301 lifter in the 300
Is the rear sight interchangeable between the A300 Patrol and 1301?
Yes rear sight is interchangeable between them
Is the hand guard interchangeable?
The 1301 handguard will fit on the A300 but sadly the A300 handguard will not fit on the 1301
will the Magpul stock that you have on the 1301 fit on the A300?
No, because the recoil mechanism is in the stock of the A300
thank you for the info. Awaiting my A300UP Tiger stripe to come in.....someday
You're welcome and thank you for taking the time to watch the video. I have another video up. With range footage of both of them
What about the rear sights? I know they are different. Does it look like the holes are the same so aftermarket mounts and sight setups like are Aridus industries sight mounts might work???
The holes are the same and any aftermarket rear sight setup and mounts that fir the 1301 will fit the A300
Good review.
Do you know if there is any aftermarket tactical stock with a grip that fits the A300?
As of right now, there are no pistol grip stocks available for the A300 on the market.
Can you put the bolt from the 1301 in the a300?
@@lilgoodluxboi i don't think it'll fit. The bolts have different geometries so the receiver isn't cut the same. I'll try tomorrow though
I must have missed it but is the Magpul stock compatible with the A300?
No, as the recoil mechanism of the A300 is in the stock
Excellent Job my friend!!!
If desired, can a longer barrel be swapped onto the A300 Ultima Patrol, do you know?
I do not have that information at this time and don't have another A300 to test it with
If this is your first video then I'm eagerly awaiting your next 100! Great job!

Don't waste your money on a new stock for that 1301, just spray that Grey one black. Good video, very thorough.
That's what I'll probably end up doing
Good 1st video! Do you know if the 1301 pistol grip can be put on the A300? Thx

Buy a regular 1301 tactical gen 2 and add a pistol grip. I had a pistol grip on mine and replaced it with a Magpul stock
