I saw the original production with Irek Mukhamedov and Darcey Bussell who were not well matched and I think this pairing far surpasses that. This couple are ideally suited and convey the passion of the piece so well.
@@BytomGirl I meant the two of them together, as a pairing, get less praise than some other pairings at the Royal (like Nunez and Muntagirov). Believe me, I know he’s a star. 😉
