Allah says don't go near Zina. So being in a relationship is going near Zina. Looking at the opposite gender with desire is going towards Zina. Would you be okay with your Sister being alone with a Man where he is leading her on and as long as they don't have Intercourse, they are not near Zina?
Its a little bit long matter but to geneneralize it simple is like this, murder affects the the person maybe the family and some people around the victim but ZINA, affects all the generation including both family and the society even the child that would born from it. A child from zina can't have heritance and other rights in addition to its being a major sin and transgression against the rights of Allah, it is also a transgression against the dearest and noblest thing that a person can possess, which is his honour, in addition to the serious negative consequences, evils and shame that result from it, which may last for a long time and affect generation after generation. It leads to all evil and bad attitudes, and it is the mother of all evils. Zina leads to other evil deeds like lying, murder, rape, prostitution and it destroys you from the inside. Both is a great sin along with shirk (worshipped other thing than Allah) and Allah knows best what is worst.
My friend just got married to a person like three months before she knew him before marriage also but they never were in physical relationship , He lived out for higher educations , somehow they got married after one month she checked her husband phone she got to know he had a relationship with a women a physical relationship (Zina)(intercourse) . She is really depressed she haven't disclosed told her husband about it that she know that he had any past relationship with that girl . What should she do in this case ? how she can help her self , She have to tell n talk about this past relationship with that lady with him as its very disturbing for her . She is scared for her relationship it might collapsed ! i need help and good suggestion what should a person can advise her ? should she disclosed it to her husband and how this sinful act can be erased if person does it , If he is really embarrassed after doing this ? Will ALLAH forgive him ? what her husband should do after this sinful act , so she can her husband for this very strict punishment from ALLAH
Zina is not something little is a grave matter and it’s punishment in the hereafter is very huge and humongous a big big humongous punishment on yawm al qiyamah
2: 237. *And if you divorce them before doing intercourse with them, and you settled the prescribed dowry for them, then half of the prescribed dowry is for them except they give up, or the guardian of them give up; and if you are giving up, it is the closest to heedfulness, and you shouldn’t forget your privilege in between you, Indeed Lord Allah is observing whatever you are doing.* If the dowry is settled, but intercourse doesn’t happen, then one can divorce women by giving half of the settled dowry as compensation. In case if the woman’s side is ready to give up the dowry, there is no blame upon him not to pay anything in it. By considering the privilege of males over females, the male should give the whole prescribed dowry. It is told in verse 4: 32: “And you don’t wish the bounty of Lord Allah bestowed upon some of you. Men should have a portion of whatever they have earned, while women should have a portion of whatever they have earned. And you ask Allah from His Bounties. And indeed, Allah is the Knower of everything!” It is told in verse 83: 26 that the competition should be for entering and enjoying Paradise.
