  • While the 29/6/2024 was meant to be a day focused of the steam Shuttles between Ringwood and Belgrave but due to not so favorable weather, it was decided to head across to the city to capture some afternoon action.
Starting out at Laburnum K153 accompanied by the 4 car Tait set cruise through the station heading towards Ringwood. The next shot sees the train on the first shuttle, slowly roll towards Upper Ferntree station as they await the line to be clear before continuing the run to Belgrave, the next two shots see the train navigating the S bends just out from Tecoma station, the shot sees the train slowly roll across Main St bridge just outside Upwey as they wait for a train going up hill before continuing. To finish up with the steam shuttles, the tait is seen leading K153 as they continue their return to Ringwood.
Now to McIntyre where 4 trains are captured, first is 6MS7 with G521 leading 1101, RL310 and RL 309, this would be the last Qube's MS7 train as the train has concluded running, next to follow and Hot on the heels of 6MS7 is 6WM7 with QL015 leading CF4416 and CF4421 as they approach the end of their southbound run. Next up sees 7MC2 with NR106 leading NR90 and NR55 as begin their journey to Junee and Griffith, This is also closely followed by Aurizon's 7MB1 with ACD48 and 6029 as race by with their Brisbane bound intermodal.
then moving to Brooklyn SCT's 7MB9 with SCT003 and CSR005 slowly pass over Somerville Rd crossing as they also begin their run north and then to finish up G532 is captured on the branch towards Hansen's Brooklyn unloader with train No. 9342 apex Quarry train from Kilmore East.
