Excellent video Doug. I enjoy your thinking. I haven't been rock climbing since I was in my teens. Always love it; now I am bit to old and out of climbing shape.
Thanks for showing you love your boy!! I lost my Son in Sacramento on Feb 4 this year We had many times played at Capitol together.... I miss him.... Right Now.........
I like that you were able to make it a theme vlog: by my count, half the hands had someone flop 2 pair. I often find that the 'wild' player I want to target doesn't play me until he has the top of his range. Maybe AK was a little light for a 200BB shove? Maybe he's a cagier opponent than you realized. Either way, there's plenty of good play here. Now that you're too old to waste time bouldering, maybe this poker thing will turn into a regular hobby 🤔
I see you later Sir at the tournament & hope to make it at final table.. always watching your vlog and supporting zeus poker! Have a blessed day everyone..
I need to learn how to stay un-tilted when the action player is losing to everyone else but always beating me. You seem to have that ability. Another asset I need to develop. Only issue I ever have with your vlogs is they show up in the middle of me watching Meet The Press! Do you have any travel plans for the next few months?
I feel as if you were trying to get too trappy in these sessions. I tend to lean to more betting out in multi way pots with top 2 or a set on the flop. You probably could have stacked the Q8 when you flopped the set of 2s. But thanks for the continued content.
I need to change up how I play from time to time. A lot of the locals watch the vlog. If I play everything fast, I would soon find myself walking into a lot of traps. 22 against this player, if I got stacks in, I wouldn’t like my chances. Any other player, I go for stacks.
@@dougmccuskerpoker Maybe… but on the other hand certain actions are just indicative of strength. When you jam, you have to know that if he calls, you’re never ahead. Maybe “flipping” or maybe in bad shape as you were. I think you are a very good player, one of the best on TH-cam. I think you’re going to do really well against your player pool in the long run, and that “gambling” like this for that many big blinds, is not necessary.
Always nice to see your videos pop up right before I head to bed. Always a pleasure to watch
I hate those sessions where I get beat up by the action players who always have it against me!
It is frustrating, but stuff like that happens all the time. Kept buying in to cover him, but never got another chance. 😩
Great Vlog! Give Zeus a treat with the winnings!
Will do!!
I learn more from your videos than pretty much all other poker channels. You are a great player
Thanks for saying that but I still have a long way to go. We can learn together.

I can’t climb worth a $h1t now, carrying extra weight and out of shape.

Right Now.........
Kids are great especially when they turn into good adults. I’m very blessed.
I’m sorry for your loss
Sorry for your loss man.
Sorry you suffered that loss, I can't imagine. I hope your happy memories of him bring you some comfort.
love the vlog Doug, best music too,
Glad you enjoyed it

Greetings from the UK, all the best buddy!Fraser
Thanks Fraser, always good to see you in the comments. 😀
I miss your show 😢
The bluff with the vlog camera is pretty strong. Maybe a tell though? Worked this time!
I’m very balanced with my filming. 😀

It’s frustrating for sure. No immediate travel plans, Zeus is having a birthday next week. Think he is going to enjoy the steak I picked out for him.
That A9dd bluff was sick! I’d have been worried he rivered two pair with KQ and chickened out.
KQ was the one hand I was concerned with, he told me later it was KJ
When you’ve passed 60 bolding can be tough.😊
It’s very tough for me now, I was once built like my son. Long, strong and fearless.

Children are God's blessing. Grandchildren even more.
I got 3 good ones, triple blessed
hey doug, do you edit your videos yourself?
would you ever need a video editor?
I’ve been approached several times, I don’t think I’m big enough to support an editor at this time.
Looks like your son inherited your physicality. Great vlog as usual, don’t think you played KQo that bad… but thêm again, I’m a total fish.
He found his athletic passion with climbing. He has impressed a lot of experienced climbers by how fast he picks moves up.
10:06 ak a Premium hand?? 10:46
I personally don't think you misplayed that KQ hand end of day 2. Villain is supposed to value bet AK there once you check to him I feel like
Should fold to his 3 bet pre. He could check flop with big hands as a trap. His river bet was for value and he doesn’t have many bluffs.
@dougmccuskerpoker pre yeah it's a fold but arriving to the spot on the river, can't fault a call, as you do beat some of his value
congratulations on such a son
I’m very proud of the young man he is becoming. 😀
Ace King.... overplayed...
Yeah, against this player, I would do it again.

I hate it when the weak action player spews my money to the other players. Why my money? He picks up real hands against me.
Exactly, so frustrating. Then I went card dead the next 2 hours as he splashed around.
Wow this guy is depressing
