Tim sounds just like his dad. I love how close they are as brother & sister, you can see the love they have for each other.. great seeing christys memory live on
When I first heard Christy I thought he was "taking the piss" then later I realized he just had a unique voice, he seemed a lovely gentle man, very talented with a beautiful family RIP Christy.
I'm convinced I saw and heard this song sung in the mid 1990s on The Late Late Show (on British Television) with host Gay Byrne. The song was sung by Christie and I think a younger Hermione. It was a greenish TV background set, and I think they were both sitting down singing whilst Christie played the guitar. - The song has been stuck in my head since then. Please tell me I am right, and if so, has anyone got the footage from the show with them singing it, as I desperatley would like to see it again. This version though (from 2010) is the only one I can find anywhere. Does anyone have access to archive from the 1990s The Late Late Shows?
@@jamesdevlin6373 - Hello Sir - Many thanks for that info, it may be worth a shot I suppose! I saw a clip here just about 2 weeks ago, with Hermione singing the song live on a stage, and in the background was a large screen with the exact clip I was talking about! - The live singing was in sync with the video playing behind her - But, I'll be darned if I can find it anywhere else. Again - Many thanks for your suggestion. Enjoy the rest of your week. Best. dawg.

Maybe write to Pat Shortt, who hosts "Music from d'telly" on RTE 1 .
