Wow, I did exactly the same thing as you, lol. I purchased Coquette Lumiere and decided to pick up two books and a shopping bag also. I love the little outfits you purchased. Thanks for showing them up close. I just love plaids and that little pleated blouse is beautiful. 🥰
Ohhhh…I think Coquette is one of the prettiest Blythe dolls out there. That bonnet is a battle but totally worth it. 🩷 I don’t do it often, but sometimes I like to throw in some extra goodies since I’m there. (Especially when they are running a sale.) 😁 I think the books are great - whether it’s for info or inspiration. Congrats on your new girl, too! 🥰
Yay for the yarny stuff! I’ve recently gotten back into knitting and crochet- maybe it’s the upcoming cold weather? I love making tiny knitwear for my dolls. That crochet book is really inspiring. Cute stuff. You will love it. 😉 🥰
Hi Ambiei, she is very beautiful. I love her little outfit and the boots you chose work perfectly. I love her country vibe. Totally my style of doll. Congrats!
Congratulations on your new doll Ambie. I unboxed my girl on TH-cam also. I have the books, however I’ve never crocheted from them because I don’t know what thickness of yarn to use or hook size.
I’ve not tried yet, either. My translator shows lace weight- I’m still figuring out the hooks. I don’t own any lace weight yarn- it’s always been so intimidating to me.
I wish you had shown the patterns in the sewing books, Web site doesn't show them. When you do make something from the books please show us the process with/without translation and how you go about it. Thank You.
Excellent idea. Thanks! I really should have shown what the patterns looked like- they are mainly charted, so that should help- but we will see. My crochet history is pretty simple stuff, but these look clear enough (for being in a different language). 😊
