Above all, Mohammedism ( now Islam) was spread all along "The Silk Road." Today, this Islamic community is still thriving in China.
it contains some 'Xinjiang' music style, or 'Kucha' music as mentioned above. Xinjiang music was influenced by Chinese, India and Persian music, and this piece of land were located right in the middle of these regions. But it's still Chinese music.
