Honestly, When I first heard their song, I didn't really like it. Because I don't really like rock or metal music. But when I heard Deja Vu, I immediately liked the song. Maybe because Deja Vu has the same beat as Dubstep music (Yes I really like EDM). That's why I really like Scream and In The Frozen. And now here I am as Insomnia ❤️

they arent really underrated, im a die hard stan, fans that say dreamcatcher are underrated are wrong, they are doing very very very good in USA, they became the first kpop girl group to top no.1 on 'Next Big Sound Bill board', they are the first kpop act to be in the lineup of Primavera 2022 (one of the biggests music festivals), they have 25mil streams of two songs on Spotify, they chart pretty good in korean charts, i agree the reason they are underrated is how they have not one single win (their disgraphies are fucking awesome, they were also robbed with deja vu that shit traumatized me) and theyve never been invited to award shows no matter how many times theyve been nominated, so they aren't underrated nor big either, kinda in between just a few points away from big

Dreamcatcher Company treats them very very well. In my opinion, even if they don't get enough recognition in S.Korea, I'd rather have them in a company which takes really good care of them.😌

I think DCC is the perfect home for Dreamcatcher. The company was formed in 2019 specifically to focus one, and only one group and you can see the impact that has had on their success. Their popularity has increased quite a lot over the last year or so and I can only see things getting better in the future.
Then there's the freedom our girls have. DC: "We're bored. We want to make a goofy video while we wait around at music shows". Management: "Okay, go for it". I mean, who else has ever done that? Add in the constant stream of vlogs and vlives and we're one of the most fed fandoms in kpop.
Seriously, there's no way changing companies at this point would be a good thing.

And even if it was just for a short while, that few moments is all the prove of their relationship. And even if they were to go to bighit as mentioned by Ed, or any other companies, they will not be the priority anymore.
I mean the CEO changed the Label name Happy Face Entertainment to Dreamcatcher Company. It's not even a Sub-Label. Haven't seen any CEO done this before.
Yes, Gahyeon was not a rapper at first, but you ALWAYS have to remember: This is Dreamcatcher, they can all be vocalists, rappers, dancers and more... Sua who is our Main dancer also raps and is a vocalist, you should watch the special clip that came out recently, it's called "Sua - Every Moment Of You"

I think the main reason they are underrated is they don't follow the music trend. DC does there own style of music. Also there company not big so it doesn't have all the money in the world to advertise the girls all the time like some companies can.
I will say that from there first album to the latest one they have grown ALOT!! From what 5k sales on first Album to almost 90k Album sold of latest one.
”Underrated” sounds like they topped their game and didn’t make it while in real life they’ve just took off.
Dreamcatcher's CEOs are a married couple and they treat the girls like they own children. Nobody needs to buy them or have them transferred to a different company because they are happy where they are. In a company of 15-20 people, everyone treats each other like a family regardless of their position. Its nice that you guys are looking out for them too!

I feel like people think Dreamcatcher just does rock, and it makes sense if you don't like that sound but they have other stuff like this that are AMAZING. They're very versatile., and while I enjoy their signature rock sound, I enjoy these types of songs too.

Same ed. As a kpop fan since 2013, dc is the only group that make it hard for me to stick to only one bias.
Yoohyeon has said in their training days they all trained to rap and sing. Sua and Dami were rappers in the early days but Gayheon took over rapping from Sua later on. Their audience is growing and especially in Korea they are getting more recognition, it's a slow game. I would prefer their label to stay the way it is, they just also need to sign different acts their boy group isn't doing super hot. Big Hit yes of course would help but they were also a small company with a under appreciated group especially in Korea and it was the international fandom helping push them up until it clicked and they blew up. Just let the girls and the company do their thing. Their hard work is paying off.
With a big company or not i honestly i feel like they’ll get the recognition they deserve and it makes so happy seeing their company giving them all types of promos and content even though they’re small. Yes they’re severely underrated but they also have a very loyal fandom and they’re slowly making their breakthrough, i feel like all we need is the perfect timing for a comeback to get them their 1st win then we can work from there.
I love your Dreamcatcher videos so much since they’re my favourite kpop gg, I can’t wait for you guys to continue with the member series, and also they have done a lot of funny self filmed mvs for their side tracks and some funny skits of dramas on their channel i can confidently say they’re the funniest gg of this generation 😂 so if y’all should definitely check these out. Yeah, they're unfortunately underrated in Korea. They've definitely won over the international fans but I think the Korean market still doesn't really know what to do with them and I think the company knew that. That's why most of the promotions and marketing for the group tends to be focused overseas. Though I will say, they do seem to be growing in Korea with each comeback. They've finally managed to be nominated for first place multiple times on the charts for music shows so that's a good sign.
I have to say, I love how quickly you guys threw yourself in to this group. And to think you THOUGHT they were a flop group going in to your first reaction xD. They're really amazing and not a type of group you run into often

i think their company is so GOOD they treat them so well, like high level groups or even better tbh, they let the girls do their own songs, choreos, their outfits always on point

in my opinion yoohyeon does the best runs in the group, she has this r&b flare to her voice. my favorite run of hers is on the b-side song daybreak, the song gives me early 2000s r&b vibes :D
you guys should perhaps consider listening to their bside on this album, you guys have already reacted to scream, red sun and black or white so why not? sahara, daybreak, tension, jazz bar, in the frozen, paradise (siyeon solo) and full moon are waiting for you 👀

I don't think that being bought by a big agency will do justice to all the hard work the girls and the company have been doing for 7+ years. Their CEO did a very risky move by re-debuting them with an unusual concept and it paid off and i don't think that history of success is something anyone would want to hand over. Plus fandom keeps growing exponentially with every comeback and i don't think that a new environment that comes with switching to a new big company will do them any good. They are very close with the staff and the CEO with how far they all came together in the past 7-9 years. They are very productive and seem geniunily happy under Dreamcatcher Company and the company values them more than anything. Dreamcatcher to the company is what BTS is for BigHit.

Their company does pay attention to them they just don't have a lot of money. They even renamed their company Dreamcatcher Company and their CEO is so nice they have the best relationship. Its just lack of funding.

They are actually low key blowing up in Korea. Their numbers are constantly growing but especially with Scream and Boca, their album sales went up like crazy.
It's not rare to hear other idols mention them. I am sure that by this time next year, they will be established among mainstream Korean artists if they keep that growing pace.
Gahyeon was only a vocalist but during the Piri era they had her rap and she stuck with it. So now shes a vocalist and rapper.
Sua used to rap but she thinks her voice isnt suited for rap so she sticks to dancing and singing mostly now (She rapped in Goodnight btw)

Nah, they can stay under HFE - they may not have the recognition, but they have freedom and the trust of their CEO. (Literally the guy popped onto their Vlive wearing a Motley Crue hoodie. He's just as committed as the girls are to their sound.) They don't need to be under BigHit - sure it would be nice for the exposure and the cash, but they're doing well on their own with a relaxed atmosphere. BigHit buying out groups can't solve everything. (Though DC has been picking up Army as fans left and right (heh) from having overlapping promotions with BTS while no audience bc of Covid. Everyone has to tune in via streaming which means 'you want BTS, here's Dreamcatcher first')

I think the reason for Dreamcatcher not being popular is that everyone loves BTS, BlackPink, TWICE, ITZY, MAMAMOO, and all the boy groups that are coming back. They all have good songs. They're not too popular because they're not from a famous company & they're sooooo unique. They don't do the usual pop cute/girl crush concept & most K-pop fans are into cute concept. yes i feel like every insomnia speechless. i can't understand why koréan don't like unique concept like this same for KARD this both groups are very underrated for no reason . in vocal side they're top 3 with mamamoo and gfriends ,in dance synchronized they're top 3 with gfriend and IZ-ONE in rap dami is one of the top 5 in 3RD generation , and for the visual they're beautiful . they have positive energy ,good attitude and they're compagny treat them very well so i dont no what wrong with koréan .minimum they deserve to be succesfull like gfriend because so many people see the opposite side of the same coin gfriend and the other side dreamcatcher .

It is funny, I also fantasied with BitHit buying DCC, but I think the DCC CEO is positive that they will make it big by themselves. It is only a question of time. They're now entering the Top 100 K-Pop groups of all time in terms of sales.
With Summer Holiday, they have reached the sales level of CLC and keep climbing up.
In September and October 2021, Dreamcatcher were on/off in the Top 20 of most recognised K-Pop brands, according to Soompi.
Dreamcatcher have more sales and YT views than most K-Rock or J-Rock groups would ever dream of.
So they're not that underated anymore. They're one if the fastest growing groups in K-Pop. They have doubled their sales and YT views in the last 16 months. As a result they signed with Sony Music for a global account.
OMG Ed!!!! You mentioning bighit should buy them is what's always on my mind since the bighit buying companies news broke out. Like literally every groups i stan is under bighit right now except DC. If bighit ever think of wanting something super different, i hope they would consider these wonderful talented girls.
