I've seen a few videos saying Island is playable on Quest but I strongly disagree. It runs at like 15-20fps maybe and the motion latency is severe. If you take two players of equal skill level, the PC player will win probably 100% of the time due to performance.
I'm sorry to hear it's running bad for you.. I'll say I tested while not recording and it runs surprisingly very smooth much better then when I was recording. The only visible lag I could really see is the first loading of the game and going near the labs area on island but performed really good otherwise.
Same here. I just cannot recommend the game until the performance is ironed out. It’ll sometimes make me feel unbalanced due to fps drops and just over all jittery janky nature of how the game runs.

So really it comes down to how YOU really feel comfortable playing PCVR for example I play with a cable but some play wirelessly through WIFI. If you are having issues with where to put your cable while playing I like to do one of two options (hang from ceiling) or (run the cable through the back of your shirt and run it back behind you) I know these aren't very ideal but sometimes you just gotta work with what you got. I have a small play space as well (cuz I am in a camper) so I'm forced to be very stationary so either of those options work great for me. I wish I could be of more help lol
