Baking soda can be used to clean washer as well!! I use baking soda in laundry too..knocks out oder and White's whites and cleans laundry great in a combination with laundry soap.. and these options are all natural
Enjoying your video. I have been taught to clean cast iron with oil and coarse salt. I rinse it off, heat the skillet and season with more oil.
Michelle try liquid toilet bowl cleaner on the shower grout. Then leave it for at least 30 minutes then go back with your scrub brush or if you have brissell brush for power driver...will work great.
As for your washer...use vinegar in a cycle!! Works wonders

Thank you I agree!!!!!! We are a family of 6. We have 4kids. I work hard for 10 hours downsizing our stuff and my husband in so many words said I did nothing because he could not tell. Men have clothes and a toothbrush and women plan for the our family and play ahead know what we will need!

Just love that towel roll, so helpful, love it! Love your channel, I hate feeling like I have to dump everything in my house, although I am decluttering, I really can't stand all this minimal stuff, some go way too far. Especially some I have seen are not storing long term food storage? What? have you noticed the store shelfs these days and what you can't get anymore. Now that doesn't mean buy out the store but come on, my neighboring state of Ohio just had a bad incident, you just never know. And clothes, now we all have too many but have people noticed how many stores are left and those that are closing down? This is not the time to be overly minimal, food, clothes and emergency supplies are a must!

I’ve been trying to chang my house and our bad habit’s lately decluttering home and deep cleaning now feels so much better organizing the cleaning part deep cleaning I hate but I’m slowly working on it taking lots of breaks in between and cleaning videos
I love cast iron. I’ve been using it since I was a kid and I also use regular dish soap to clean it. I can’t wrap my head around not fully washing it and putting it away. Never had a problem with this method.

I absolutely LOVE how realistic you are. I hate knowing there are people who have been negative towards any of your videos. Nobody is forcing you to watch. Don't like it...move on. You are genuine and it's very obvious you care about helping and motivating your viewers. And boy do you!!! Lol i am the exact same way. We bought a nugget ice maker and it did something similar. What worked for us was raising the water tank about the ice machine to work the air bubbles through. We have to still do it sometimes, but it worked for us.

The cast iron skillets. Yes I use and cook with them often. Some of my skillets are over 60 to 75 yrs old. Although many people say do not use soap on them, I use mild dish soap on mine sometimes when heavy used, but not often. The key is to immediately dry them and follow up on heat with the oil, not olive oil. Use a light neutral oil like grapeseed that has little to no flavor.
I am a dog and cat person. Love the wursfest container :)
In regards to people commenting on what your kids should or shouldn't do, that is your decision as a parent. I had a parent who was overbearing about cleaning and how things "should be done". You do what works best .

About the washing machine cleaner. I found that using cleaning vinegar in the bleach dispenser on most loads like the sheets, comforters, rugs, and even color cloths helps to keep the washing machine smelling fresh. I also keep my door open for a while after each load. Another thing I do is to keep a small open container of baking soda in the washing machine between washes.
I watch your channel as I like to clean along or declutter along with the people in the videos on your channel and others too. It helps motivate me to keep going. Your video are relatable and you are nice and friendly.

I love the fact that u pick up after the kids. I’ve learned from that. My grandkids are 10&8 and all the energy I spend hounding them to pick up their playroom and bedroom they don’t get to play outside. So,I stopped that now they play on the bikes and I’m getting a chance to organize their stuff. Ty so much for ur view of life with kids

My daughter has 5 kids, works from home, helps to build up her husbands business,-plus he has a full time job as well, is there for all the kids sports, and has three cheerleading groups that she directs and makes the best meals for her family! How she keeps her home in order is amazing to me! She lives out of town so me working 2 jobs and having been working on rehabing my home, I really needed motivating, so here I am. Thanks for getting me on track!

Hi Michelle , I’m loving your content and feel for you having to clean all the time xx I got my children involved with sorting toys at a young age and gave them a talk about how they can make a saving box by selling toys they don’t want to play with anymore . This took the guilt off me for wanting to minimise there toys and they looked forward to seeing how much they saved for things they really wanted xxx you could also sell things in the home to buy new items you really want x with your husband starting his own business your clutter sat there could be making you money xxx hope this helps and wishing you all the luck for 2023 💕💕💕
I love a good cleaning marathon and I needed this today. I find with my depression I feel better once I’ve cleaned I but getting the motivation is so hard. You , and Ashley from Til Vacuum Do Us Part, have helped me so much this year to clean organise, and not feel bad for having real life getting in the way sometimes. So thank you so much 😊

Hello, I was just scrolling cleaning videos and you popped up. I can understand what you're going through I am one year and 6 months separated from my spouse and recently divorced. In the beginning I cried almost everyday but once I made the decision that this was the right thing for ME. . . which it seems where you are right now, each day gets better; you'll get in your routine and one day you'll realize...WOW I GOT THIS.. THIS WILL WORK. Also, self-care is very VERY important ... ME time is very very important! I know you're a mom & you work from home but it's imperative that you take some time for yourself. First of all I LOVE your home. The kitchen is beautiful. Second I have a light colored couch too. I keep mine covered with throws or blankets. I have two cats and they are in door and outdoor cats. Also grandkids. It's so much easier to keep my cough clean like that.
I love animals but I am a dog person I have a Yorkie pincher mix , she doesn't shed at all and I have a cockatiel that's almost 26 years old , my dog is 9 mos old now my last dog SAYDI passed from Cushings a year and a half ago she was 10 and a half and Chihuahua pincher mix sweetest baby girl ever !!!!!

Just FYI. My ice maker will stop working if my refrigerator water filter needs to be changed. Took me forever to figure that out

I have the ‘cursed’ SAMSUNG refrigerator.. NO ICE FROM DAY ONE!!! And I let the warranty run out.. smh!! I have a Samsung tv that’s awesome.. but for some reason the refrigerators are terrible!! I feel you.. When you started talking about it.. I stopped everything I was doing!! Buy another model/brand if you can! Good luck!!

I have 3 dogs, a cat and a Pot belly pig. 🐽 I thought I was a dog person until I got the pig. I'm 1000% sure I'm a pig person now haha.

We use ice trays that make sphere ice cubes. It came with a container to hold them so we always have plenty of ice on hand, and they’re a cool shape lol
Bedroom, kitchen and lounge. I have been getting there with m kitchen and lounge as I have been doing some spring cleaning and the regular clean. I'm getting better at cleaning the decks, getting the washing up done before bed and giving the counter a wipe down. When we had to keep turning off the water for two weeks things like clothes washing and washing up built up even though I would regularly turn the water on to get it done. There was still a lot to do so I was getting overwhelmed. I nearly got to the bottom of the washing basket as I had two loads left. It built up again as it takes ages to dry it as we have to use all our radiators to dry everything. If we had a tumble dryer I could do more loads a day and per week.
It's an interesting perspective. What helped me a lot with my depression was getting up and clean the house. I find that scrubbing stuff calms me down. Doing sports for example always made me feel worse. I don't know why. I did sports all my life, but never helped me. Cleaning stuff and organizing stuff around the house did. I need to do that anyway because I have too many dogs for one human being :D Also, this kid of videos help me get up off the couch. They give me an impulse to do stuff :D

Buy experiences vs. stuff to keep your home from getting cluttered. Most people remember outings, trips, new experiences but not the stuff they ever received or purchased.
turn the cover inside out, slip your arms on the inside of the cover and hold the edges corners, do not hold the end with the buttons, hold the blanket you wish to put inside, line it up with the other edges, hold it up, give it a shake, let the cover fall down over it, then just button it up at the other end, sometimes it doesn't always go all the way down but it is normally neat and effective, this is a quick five minute cheat for me, it did take some time for me to learn it, use and remember to use it. But it really saved me a lot of time.

For the color catchers I read if you use one of those bags that you would put bras in, it will help keep the color catcher from going thru the drain system.
I haven't tried the affresh but on the tide it says to just use the "normal" cycle as I don't have a self clean option.
I am a big dog person. I currently do not have a dog but Rottweilers are my favorite breed.

I’ve been carpet cleaning my house with the Hoover powerdash pet carpet cleaner is small but does a amazing job best machine I’ve ever bought for a great price too
The bug that came in… was it a palmetto bug? If so they live in trees and bushes. They will come in your house from time to time, but if y’all look around the house y’all will find where they are living. We had a bush on the side of our house that had them and when we got rid of the bush we never had them in our house again.
going back to the ice maker, we have had the frigidaire one for about 2 years with no issues, but we have been using purified bottled water so maybe that’s your issue
I have a aussiedoodle dog a black cat and a tan Guinea pig use to have 2 other cat a bird and turtles lizard lots of pets come in and out of this house all the time lol but we love them all I also love my Tineco vacuum it was spendy but does amazing job worth the money
I love dogs, ours passed away 5 weeks ago. Miss her terribly. I cant even wash the window with her nose prints on it where she looked out all the time. 😢

I have mixed emotions on the cast iron pan dilema. I love using it. I hate cleaning it too. But when I need it for steak or searing lamb it’s the best equipment to use

Hey sweetie… it never hurts to clean your cast iron skillets with soap and water. Just don’t submerge it in water. After you get it clean, dry the skillet really well and reseason with lard or crisco. Then every 3 to 4 months do a full reseason that way your skillet doesn’t rust and will be nonstick.

Need so much motivation right now. I have a dog. He's a pug /jack Russell cross and constantly sheds! Never fussed on cats. We also have a 5 foot python and a rather sassy bearded dragon.

We live with one dog, 4 cats and 2 free roaming bunnies. We also have our rescue farm, so we got 6 cows, 21 chicken, 2 roosters, 2 geese, 3 sheep, 4 mini goats, 2 pigs, 1 hedgehog, a few fish in the pond and 1 red kite that I rescued as a baby, that still sticks around 😂 so we got Kind of a Zoo here 🤣
Thanks for the video. I don’t know how you do it with the dog hair. I would never be able to relax with that dog hair. I love dogs but because of the hair all my dogs are outside. Don’t let people bring you down. 3young kids and a husband and dog you are doing an excellent job. Keep it up.
To all the animal lovers out there thought I’d share a little hack that I found take a dryer sheet and run it across the bottom of your couch or your couch cushions and the hair won’t stick to it as much

Contact Samsung. This is an ongoing problem with their larger refrigerators. Squeaky wheel gets the grease. Mine was 8 years old, continually stopping making ice. I had to fully manually defrost. Finally, I found that there was a small leak that had gone under my flooring and damaged the subfloor and cabinet. They tried to dismiss because of the age but there were many phone calls to customer service regarding the ice maker. Short story, received almost $400.00 check, and was able to donate the refrigerator to our local food pantry. There are many issues online regarding the problem.

My three area are my bedroom, kitchen, and living room.😊❤. I have had both dogs and cats, but the older I get I would prefer a dog (Sm. to Med. size).
I have a cat and I love him to bits but i will never get used to all his hair. His hairlos game is so real. I would have to vacume my house at least two times a week but i realy do not love cleaning. Everyting is in it’s place I’m a neatfreak in that way but cleaning not so much. Never have been and I’m 45 now.

Good luck I have a 16 and 6 year old and neither of the do want I want or how I do it the right way so good luck some people r crazy kids do things there way and the kids clean is different from my clean but like u said we don’t live in a perfect world lol😂

I have 3 Standard Poodles 🐩
They are practically my children! And it’s true what they say about Poodles not shedding. Mine don’t shed.. like, at all!! I’ve never found any of their fur in my home.. my problem is the dirt!! We have a doggie door leading to our backyard and all 3 of my 70lb Poodles are constantly going back and forth & in and out! They are tracking in so much dirt as they go in and out of the doggie door and it leaves my home filthy!
