I just heard this guy and this song for the first time. I heard Gabriel’s version first and while he has an amazing voice and skill I was surprised at how much I love this version more. His version is more soulful and a more masculine tone which if sung by a male person I prefer . Otherwise might as well listen to Whitney’s version.
Gabriel has amazing vocal skills but he mostly sings almost exactly like the original version (be it a studio version or a live version) with a couple of whistle notes. This one here is a much fresher and touching take for my personal taste.@@bcsjr6161
