I think the issue with people thinking Gray's fruit is purple is that it's a monotone gray on an extremely jarringly purple background.
that's what i've been telling people about my fruit but they don't believe me

But yeah the grey on pink causes a colour contrast that makes your brain fill it in as purple and it's frankly incredible that he's never seen it

It's funny cause the stray pixel in part 1 actually was *removed* in an update, but toby just moved it to a different spot instead

22:15 fun fact, that stray pixel was a mistake, and so many people pointed it out that in the chapter 2 final arena toby deliberately put a stray pixel on it just to annoy people.
My favourite bit is how in the fangamer stream where they revealed chapter 2, in the modified version they had there were TWO stray pixels

I at first thought it was purple too, but now I can see that the fruit is gray.
It's just that the neon pink contrasting it makes it seem more bright than it actually is. If you had put the same fruit on a dark/normal colored background it would be easier to tell. (There's also the fact that we are seeing it from a small logo, not on some page of paper or a big focus for the screen)

I’ve never seen Grayfruit’s face before this video. I’ve always imagined him to be an emaciated Romanian man with a permanent coating of soot on his face, but this works too.
1:10 his sense for rhythm is amazing enough to use the ingame sounds to replicate part of the music perfectly, but he still missed the pineapple somehow
