I’m the opposite with hand soap. I only buy soap during the semi annual sale. I never really care what season I use it in or what the packaging is. I just want it cheap lol
Me too. Since the scent is just rinse and go. It doesn't really matter, as you are not wearing it.

I never buy the candles unless they are 75% off and my store rarely has any for 75% and if they do it’s not a good selection.
I use SAS to stock up for gifts because most of the people I buy for are casual customers and they have no idea what comes out when 😂

My approach with body care is to get items i don't have but like and I will stock up on favorites in case they don't return also this is a great time to shop for upcoming holidays and birthdays to give as gifts
Sas may also be a good time to use app rewards. I tend to use app rewards for wallflower plugs
Minis tend to run three for seven they may include bar soap
Body cream is also an amazing in shower skin moisturizer, so if it's close to turning or has turned it's still usable! Even add to a bubble bath for a moisturizing soak.
How do you use in shower moisturizer?
@@MsRia10 You apply it to your skin at the end of your shower while water is still running. It's just like using the in shower skin conditioner/moisturizer that Olay & Jergens sells and similar to applying a body oil or body oil gel before getting out of the shower.

I totally agree about Christmas. ❤ Last year for summer SAS, "Christmas Cookies" mist showed up online for 75% off, and I was able to grab a couple mists. I was super happy, because they decided not to bring the scent back for Christmas 2023. 😄

I use the hand soap as bath bubbles. 1.65 for a bubble bath like product is not bad.
I just received 10 candles from the Mother's Day sale as a gift, so I'm going to hold off on candles until fall and possibly just buy some soaps :)

Hand soaps??? SAS is the time to get them. It’s the cheapest price of the year. That’s the only time I buy hand soaps is during SAS for 75% off, that’s the time to stock up. I personally don’t mind not keeping up with seasons when it comes to the hand soaps. I appreciate the tips! Great video Bonnie, thank you 🥰

I like to dig thtu the 75 off stuff for the cheapest non holiday stuff that I can donate to nursing homes and children's agencies that wrap and give away to older kids. Everyone loves to give toys to little ones but the preteen and teens would love stuff like fruit scents.

Thank you for making this video, Bonnie! I started to really get back into B&BW this past year and am realizing just how much their marketing is geared to make people overbuy pretty much everything. The way they release so many products per year, and do it in strategic collections, the way they rotate and time their sales and promos...it's enough to make a person lose common sense. This time of year makes me recoil at the mention of fall (and certainly of Halloween), but it's good to keep in mind that when we're well into August I will be wanting fall themed items and not be keen on trying to use up summer products that I overbought.
SAS is to just add a few items. I stopped overbuying because they have sales all year. I don’t buy every collection anymore. Tfs Bonnie.
I agree! They have so many good sales throughout the year that by the time SAS comes around, really all I ever buy are some of the retired/discontinued or seasonal items that they bring back.
Absolutely right Bonnie, I’ve been shopping semi annual for years it is old stock. Candles that didn’t sell, old packaging, past season items etc.

Stores get sent random stuff for the first week of sas to support a 75% table. And there are always Christmas items sent. But it’s random. If u don’t shop the first few days tho that’s probably why.

Hi Bonnie! I cannot wait for SAS!!! Do you have any sort of traditions when it comes to SAS? For summer SAS I always get a unsweetened Black Iced Tea with Lemon from Starbucks either prior to the store opening or after shopping on the first day. I rarely buy hand soaps during SAS unless it's a special one like Cotton Candy Grape. I picked up one last summer SAS and using it now in my bathroom. I never pick up body cream. I usually stick with the mists, mini EDP perfumes, full size perfumes if they are at 75% off and shower gel/body wash. I will rarely buy candles either. I may get the purple butterfly plug, but it's way down on my list.
But I couldn't care less about fall! 🤣 I'm a summer girl! I want summer stuff! *stomps foot and pouts*
Seriously, I have so much stuff that lately I just get things that I really really like, I don't buy full collections anymore cos the packaging matches even if I know that I will never reach out for them. I go to the SAS and don't actually get a lot, but I tend to get summer/spring products if they are properly discounted, of course. I got stingy with age! 🤭

You are right about body butter and cream must have at lease 20 that I BOUGHT JUST A FEW MONTHS AGO ARE ALREADY NO GOOD WILL NEVER BUY CREAM AGAIN . When I smelled a couple of them in the store, I thought they look funny and brought the problem to the attention of staff member. She said oh that’s good. Don’t worry just color. I can tell you anything with vanilla is no good etc. there already disintegrated how could they not last .ALSO HAVE CREAM AT LEAST 4 years still like the day I ORDERD IT . I always get a good price on my stuff but really if you figure 20 at 499 that’s $100 wasted product. It should last at least six months. Check your stuff in the store because I’m seeing a lot of that lately.ALSO BOUGHT SOAP HOLDERS A FEW MONTHS BACK WITH my reward bonus buy unfortunately both are rusted making mark on my perfect white granite counters did come off, but I won’t be using those again live and learn the hard way
u can spray the bottom of metal candle holders with WD40 stops rust b4 it starts
vanilla always changes to yellow even if it is still good.. A lot of expensive perfumes turn darker with age.. its just the nature of vanilla itself.. If it looks 'lumpy' that is when I toss it
I'm hoping they don't do Halloween all summer like last year. It was irritating and unseasonably awkward.

I’m normally a bit terrified of how much I spend during SAS, but I’m really not needing much right now. I’m just interested in testing the Tahiti, Paris amour, and wild Madagascar. Nothing else sounds appealing to me. I’m also maybe gonna get a peach Bellini even though it should be called orange Bellini. 🤔
Hi Bonnie, you need to fly to California and come shopping with me during SAS, slapping my hand if I buy too much or not at 75% because I’m one of those people who gets so excited, everything ends up in my basket and I totally overspend. I have zero willpower at BBW during SAS. 🥲

Thanks for the great video, always so helpful, and saving us money :) I have to mention, I am just using my last Cherry Limeade body cream, and strawberry soda from 2021. The body creams are perfect, and hubby could smell cherry limeade from across the room, and bathroom smells of cherry limeade. When scents lasted longer than an hour, lol. BBW changed the cream formula twice, I think, in '21 and '22. That's when the creams started the short shelf life, vanilla, or no vanilla. I had lemon pound cake go bad within 5 months. I have been using my stash, and it is interesting to see what creams are still wonderful. Also, I have noticed that bath gels from the quick SAS releases from a year and two years ago, some lose their colors. Well, just my opinion, and as you say "don't over buy". :)

The last SAS was mostly only 50% off. We waited but only a few went to 75% and not the stuff we wanted. However I am curious this time around as in our stores there were lots of the Mother’s Day bag sets left. Wondering if they will show up in the sale or perhaps they will take them apart. Also in some of our Canadian stores we don’t get a lot of candle holders or accessories so not much makes it to SAS. Also the Halloween accessories are usually the best

This might be a silly question, but do the body lotions last longer than the body creams? Or do you find they last about the same? I have some scents that I want to pick up, so I’d like to get whichever version lasts the longest because I do have a bit of a stockpile to get through.

In every sale SAS or regular a lot products are sold out within hours, it's because some people buy in bulk that they don't always use and end up trashing them when they go bad, at the same time there many people who find empty shelves or soldout signs for those products that they never got a chance to test even once. my request is to everyone please don't be greedy, be kind to others as well, do not hoard or over stock up things just because you found them first or cheap. There are always other people who need them too.

Yeah too bad all the new fruity stuff coming back is cream only. I want more lotions now cause they last and go further, but everything coming back I've never bought and would probably get...cream only😭 Also I hate fall. Fall scents are really ew for a fruity scent lover. Last year sucked. Christmas/winter is just okay.
