"Some old School Drum Loop"
*plays the da funk drum beat* lol
Finna he talentes guy man
Gotta dig for those samples, nothing beats a funk break from wax
Damn this resonant filter into the bitcrusher is just insane.
This is so incredibly specific to engineering the Daft sound. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video. Daft Punk is the band that led me to believe I, a instrumental/vocal nincompoop, can also make music
Happy to hear it was helpful
This is public service 😍
And it is truly my pleasure
Man, I love your tutorials. You’re one of the few who actually been and had success in this industry. It’s truly a blessing that you share your knowledge here.
Keep doing this, man!
I appreciate that!
You really outdid yourself with this tutorial! I also love how many stock plugins you used
Thanks a ton!
Even as an acoustic music producer, I keep coming back to this channel because the workflows you demonstrate inspire me to try new things in my own productions. Thank you for the great content!
Great to hear!
You're truly a great teacher! Thank you so much! Didn't even know you can do that on VocalSynth2 using midi. 🤯🤯🤯
Happy to help!
This guys tutorials take it to a whole other level, best emulation of another artist video I’ve seen
Thanks!
You're an incredible teacher! Thanks for always giving the WHY behind certain functions. Keep up the great work
My pleasure!
Dude...that ad transition was ssssslick.
Amazingly skilled tutorial! This made me both jump out of my seat with joy (discovering that original George Duke song sample), and feel really sad (that they’ve split) at the same time. Music can be such a time machine and emotional rollercoaster, which is a privilege to get to ride
This really exceeded my expectations .... bro went crazy
Bro way you so hard on yourself. The vocals are pretty good.
only thing missing is the subtle french accent on the vocals
this is worth gold. If you can do a longer series on this covering all the daftpunk style on ableton. I will surely pay for it.
Dude I'm so mind-blown by your knowledge of sound design! It's incredible to see how accurately you recreate the sound by using basic contours!! It gives me hope that I can get to this level one day because with the way you explain it, it doesnt seem so complicated or overwhelming. Thank you for sharing this video!!
Glad you enjoy it!
Wow that overdrive fattens up the sound!
It sure does! Thanks for watching
Hey man I just started learning music production and watch a lot of tutorials. You've got a knack for communicating and information design in your teaching. Thank you!
Miss you Daft Punk
Youre the man... one of the best demos i've ever seen. thank you so much.

Thank you so much 😀
And to think almost all this was done with stock plug-ins
Great video man- big love
AHHHH THIS IS MY DREAM TUTORIAL THANK U SO MUCH
Happy to help!
That vocal trick was what i needed! I spent so much time dealing with vocoders , and it's too complex. A tutorial on how they use the vocoder would be great
Check my channel I have videos that cover it sep by step
I feel like I'm watching daft punk create da funk
Very interesting and clear, the Human After All digital bass put a smile on my face :)
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wow.. digital love has been one of my favorite songs, I had no idea the part I loved the most was sampled

This is great.
Love your tutorials. Thanks so much !
I'm just amazed by the complexity of some parameters like in the analog synth 🤯
Thanks so much for this video, it's really interesting and super close to the original !
I would love to know if you could do a "The Diogenes Club" sound breakdown. They deserve a real mention and imitation. Thank you for this Daft Punk breakdown!
I'll check it out!
@@BeatAcademy Any verdict on tDC? I'd still love to see something done in imitation on what you can tell their process is. Many thanks!

Astounding. Yet another great video, well done Mr Factor.
Glad you enjoyed it
i really enjoyed this tuto well done bro
Great video, you are a good teacher. Looking forward to see your courses!
Thanks so much!
For the Da Funk lead, with the way the Analog instrument works you get a better filter resonance sound by raising the Filter Drive inside Analog to a higher value (yours is on Sym1, I suggest Sym3) than slapping an overdrive on at the end.
Great point. yes the. filter drive plays a big part in the sound. Thanks for watching. ;)
Brilliant!!! thanks a lot.
Absolutely fantastic tutorial, thanks a lot.
Awesome video, thank you!
Glad you liked it!
Man, you f*cking nailed! thank you very much. 13:00 I always was curious for life on how to make that bass kinda vocal and I never figured out that was a reso filter with bitcrusher, mind blowing

Great content, love this
Awesome stuff!
WOW !! very impressive
Thank you! Cheers!
great work!
Love it. sounds legit!
Amazing AGAIN!!!
I can't stop screaming "TRUE ARTIST" to my computer screen
I believe the lead was done with an Korg MS-20. I’m able to get it pretty darn close if not exact. Nice to see it done in Ableton. I don’t remember it having such a wide chorus. Be careful of copyright strikes... the YT algorithm can get tripped up if it’s too close 🙃
I've read somewhere that the synth parts in the whole "Homework" album were done with a Minimoog, so possibly it was not an MS-20.
Amazing tutorial 🐐
Appreciate it
Superb! Thank you.
Great video learned so much
Glad it was helpful!
“Sounds like poop, but it’ll work!”
What does poop sound like? 🤔
@@bhaveshtochabbra6853 what ever you need it to 😳😳😳😳

For those who want to know what the name of the song is... "Digital Love-Daft Punk"
