Why isn't this dude HUGE???
fucking dubstep disco music
This guy is actualy pretty big, just underated, check his wiki to see where his songs got used and you'll see what I mean. :x
PANDA PANDA PANDA, I GOT BROADS IN ATLANTA
+BΔD NΣIGHBΦUR that's your opinion lol
***** still an opinion regardless of whether widely held or not
I love all these songs... it's like I'm in the middle of a powerful story.
+Ru White I agree
hail hydra
HAIL HYDRA
cut off one head 2 more shall take its place
indeed
This song feels so real in these times
You had me at _Lemmings_.
he had me there too
This One is a fucking GEM
long time i have been skipping this song while listening RONIN album.
but one day THIS song became maybe my ALL TIME FAVOURITE from Mr. Zack Hemsey
for sure it belongs to TOP 3 of ZACK HEMSEY´S songs
That twisted culture got you feeding from its hands
This song has never been more relevant.
You can said that another brother.
Exactly, think for yourself. Don’t let others think for you.
zack hemsey; rap + great story + epic music = AWESOME!
The story is reality
I usually don't listen to rap, because it doesn't really appeal to me. But man this is great. Gotta love Zack and his amazing tracks.
Lord Jay I think he was talking about mainstream rap: Lil Wayne, Drake, Jay Z and those kinds of rappers. That's what most people think of when they think rap, and I'd agree with him that it's awful (terrible lyrics, a lot of the time they don't make sense, and their rhyming skills need work).
Nathaniel White Agreed. I would definitely listen to this "war poetry" over that annoying nonsense.
check out b.dolan if you like this you'll like him too.
Zack and Mi55t
I agree 100%. I respect old school rap like Dre, Cypress Hill, etc. but rap has gotten stale. I think there are a couple reasons Zach hasn't gotten huge. 1) He's white. Breaking out as a white rapper is difficult because you have to overcome people's assumptions that you're a poser. 2) He refuses to cater to the ghetto culture that owns the genre. For instance, he goes by his own name not some stupid pseudonym. "Lil" this and "Jeezy" that. Get outta here with that shit and just make good music.
[Verse 1]
Habits of the lemmings die hard
Patterns of obsession go far
Digging ditches so they never see the stars
Now all them lessons learned get buried in the yard
And ways of the weapon bombard
Building mountains of them body bags large
Rubbernecking while collision greet your car
And you may know your name but don't know who or what you are
[Pre-Verse]
You a slave
You a slave
You a slave
You a slave
[Verse 2]
Poised to drink that Kool-Aid suicide
Follow don't get left behind
Don't think, better do just what they certify
You that servant, never choose a side
Vassal of the modern times
And when it all blows up you duck your head and hide
You out there searching for that silver line
But sweat has covered up the signs
Now that fortune came, but it's gone and it passed you by
You plucked your feathers, now you wonder why
You can't lift yourself and fly
Well in the middle of an ocean no one's hands are dry
If that tree fall does it make a sound
Can the world stall from the runaround
Can a mind think if it's in a crowd
Can a soul search if it's never found
And can a thing grow when you cut it down
Can we all find peace in the here and now
You can crawl through the mud with your hands bound
But I'll get plenty of that dirt when I'm underground
[Pre-Chorus]
You a slave
You a slave
You a slave
And this a slave ship
You a slave
You a slave
You a slave
And this a slave ship
[Verse 3]
This a slave ship
Shackled in those chains, whipped
Pushed until you break, fixed
Back into the game quick
March along the pavement
Earn that meager wage, spit
Do just what they say, skip
Work until the pain splits
Let the haze lift
Pull yourself out of that grave pit
And consider how you became sick
All that labor brought you nothing but your bones sore
All that devotion led to nothing but the sweat pours
And now they want more
Own you to the core
Well I don't make laws
But I am not yours
And this a mob call
Let them bricks fall
If you want freedom then just take it, what you waiting for
Don't let your masters tell you this is how it's done
Don't let the wicked fool you, this is how the war is won
That mayhem can't continue if the noble don't succumb
That forest on fire pave the way to what becomes
They tell you disregard the doubts that creeps across your mind
They tell you there is simply nothing more for you to find
They tell you time to wake up and get back into the line
These pyramids don't build themselves, now go resume the grind
I tell 'em I don't follow in the footsteps of insane
I tell 'em I don't trail along a path with no terrain
I tell 'em you can work the fields and bask in all your grain
But I for one don't live to work, I will not live in vain
[Pre-Chorus]
You a slave
And this a slave ship
You a slave
And this a slave ship
You a slave
And this a slave ship
[Verse 4]
This twisted culture got you feeding from its hand
But you will lose that food if you don't meet all their demands
And loyal is the soldier that gets slaughtered with the lambs
Examining the blueprints got you questioning the plans
And if a man fall, does it make a sound
Will the world stall, from the runaround
Does a mind think, when it in a crowd
How can a soul search, if it's never found
And can a thing breathe if it's always being drowned
Can the leaders of the lost forever disavow
And you can stare at the sky while you on the ground
But I'm a wait until I die to take it lying down
This a mob call, let them bricks fall
This a mob call, now let them bricks fall
This a mob call, let them bricks fall
If you want freedom then just take it
What you waiting for?
Zach Hemsey is a prophet
My theme song when I'm at Work
Zack Hemsey is proving to us all that he's able to make music, to evolve and try new things, and still be awesome and creative with that.
Zack should be an example to all these shitty "bands" today. He's a musician. A real musician.
(Respect from France !)
Vive la France!! 🇫🇷 ⚜️
Got a Rage Against the Machine feel to it...love it.
holy FUCK that’s why I enjoy it so much!
This should be the 2020 'Theme Song'
The machine has learned to feed off of your rage though.
@@teiuq indeed
@@teiuq Indeed.
This is all talking about our life how we just follow the crowd "go get a job and become a slave"
I'm surprised a lot of the comments here aren't picking up on this.
We are sheep being led to the slaughter. Repent and turn to Christ for the hour draws near.
Well...you have to get money some way. It's about how you make it and how you differentiate from the others. You have to get a job, but one that you like, not one that you go to just for the money.
Listen to the lyricsy brothers and sisters and all others, this is a call to arms we must take back our freedom before we're slaughtered
Lol our freedom now is taken in the form of a pandemic
The slave wage is holding so many people from reaching their goal. They get stuck in those corporate job, doing tedious work just to make ends meet. The problem is that most people aren’t even aware of their slavery. Your body degrades as the years pass. And when it crashes.. they’ll ask you to leave, and hire a new one!
@@redhat4363 and what should we do?
On a general scale:
Rise the minimum wage to $15/h.. free health care and education to reintegrate the loss portion of the society. There are powerful people out there who do not want to give up on their privileges. They do not like the idea of regulating the prices for the average guy cause they are making profit from the current status quo which is a dysfunctional system full of power vacuums.
On an individual scale:
The other part is to forge your own path and set a plan of 2 to 5 to even 10 years to escape the rat race and become self employed by building your own business. This going to allow you to attain your financial freedom and earn all the money you need to do what you want rather than what those slave owners want you to do.

Good Lord, this is awesome!
I love the lyrics to this song!
Such a nice tune
ABSOLUTELY MENTAL TRACK! This is modern life, all that labor brings you nothing.
my fav movie is "fight club" and from now on, my fav zack hemsey track is "slave".....
fucking dope
I usually listen to both versions in turns. Instrumentals when I'm writing for example so words don't get in the way, and all words when I'm not doing things that require concentration. The more I listen the more I hear.
Holy hell those drums at the end give me chills
this song will be in a movie in no time.
I think the same
Crushing!
this album is beast mode defined!
Never bought a Album so fast like this, I just heard the first song from you and immediately bought it, nice work dude, do on so!

Zack I loved your work in man with the iron fists 2
Amazing new album. I love your super simplistic album art too.
I NEED to hear Zack De La Rocha sing this
Been listening to him since 2016. Just here to say this before everything he says is proven true. Ok sayonara ✌️
Who even IS Zack Hemsey? Considering the rest of the world is due to learn this truth here pretty soon I'm thinking this music is about to experience a resurgence.
I don't usually like rap, but Zack is different.
Man knows his work❤
Brotha Zack you're my favorite artist

What I really love about Zack is that he uses clean language in his rap. You don't need all that crude stuff to make music good...
It's not just a song or a soundtrack for a movie, it's a fu*kin' message, like what's wrong wit you all?
2022 = prophetic
More like 2020
YESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!
I think he sing about the government who tell us what we have to believe and if we don't do what they want, we will end up on the streets. :/ Let'em bricks fall = Revolution :D /Sorry for the bad english^^ Good song Zack! :) The whole album is good >: D
If contradict that, I beliee that he is singing about the Japanese/Chinese opinion of the European Empires in the 16-1800s
Ah, thanks Raza Yousaf :)
Krebsik1 Just my thoughts on the song, but either way, perceive it however you wish, as long as you appreciate the music!
2 years late, but I wouldn't agree with Raza, because of the lines "This twisted culture got you feeding from its hand
But you will lose that food if you don't meet all their demands"
Raza Yousaf I don't think so. He's rapping about the current system of this world.
Even thought its soo Hard (dont get in my way, nice to meet me, Silver Crimson Black, greet the menace, Teachings of Ronin, i cant get it back)
My best and favourite from Ronin is SLAVE!!!!
New Album

Hahahahaha nice one ! well done 👍
Holy shit this album is amazing I'm kinda glad you're not as huge as Kanye and all the other idiot "artists" powered by stupidity because people, media, social media would just pollute your talent and music but your talent shouldn't go unnoticed as well
Nice
its written in the description
Revolt.
I'm a slave to Zack Hemsey.
Head banging and fist pumping to this!
nobody's talking about the lyrics.
sad.
Feels bad. These lyrics are of paramount importance
It’s basically a call to free yourself from the rat race. The slave ship is a metaphor for the modern corporations who are deliberately exploiting mankind for profit.
I am currently in my way to attain this goal of financial freedom by starting my own business.. but it may still take couple of years.. in the meantime, I gotta show up at the workplace aka the plantation to cover my bills, since an immediate escape is right now impossible due to the way the system is designed (a system built on inequalities of opportunities.. which has been purposely designed for us to submit to)
You were slave and this is slave ship
This twisted culture got ya feeding from it's hands.
Listen my call, let them bricks fall,
Listen my call, let them bricks fall
Listen my call, let them bricks fall
Listen my call, let them bricks fall
Best lines ever.
Dope! Can i use this song for my martial art tricking demoreel video? :#
The voice itself if a form of musical instrument. I respect your opinion, but remember. Listening to an instrumental because you only like the music is like watching a movie on mute because you like the pretty pictures or listening to only the drums in an orchestra. You end up missing a crucial part of the story thus corrupting the message and making it untrue. And truth my dear friend is the most important thing in this world. ;)
Where i find the álbum ´RONIN` Zack hemsey, with only instrumental music?
Get ready for this to be real.
Thos guy for president 2020
Amazing, buying this to support Indie artists / creators like us - get ready office!
Though maybe this tune may be taken the wrong way ;]
I prefer the rap version, but I don't agree. A movie is something visual, therefor can't really be compared to music. With rap, you enter a story, and with the instrumentals you just enter a different one which you can choose yourself, because it's all about how you feel about it. I honestly never been so deep about something, but I guess Zack got it out of me.
man this is some type of nu metal?
Pac and Hemsey would have been WOOOOOOW

I want to cut off those chains that for so long I thought keep me alive
Fearless, regardless if theres something in the bottom to break my fall
worth it if by that at last I can be free and fly.
Hi I was wondering if I could use a song of urs in a montage that I'm gonna make. Just reply if it's ok or if u have any questions.
I swear if it's another fucking Conor McGregor one ...
I think he is fine with you using it in a video but you can't monetize it.
