I added the circular base to the jug. Works better than the square base on the jug. I’d use the square base for something that’s more static like a table. For something that like the water jug, which moves around, you want the circular base which locks in the spout.

Let me clarify - the touch control struggles to register touches when IT GETS WET.
Yes it can be a bit finicky to turn off with wet hands and might take an extra touch or two.
Please try using a tripod instead of hand held; makes one kinda ill with all the motion, thank you

The external dimensions of the hose measure approximately 3/8" (inch).
