Why do you put «ut» at the end of the sentence? (Though «ut» is not included in the translation) Is there a rule for adding that? Takk!

Good question! Yes, it is a rule. Here’s why:
The English verb “to sound” translates to “å høres ut” in Norwegian. Same with “to look” (as in, you look tired), which is “å se ut”.
When used in a sentence with a noun, it looks like this:
You look like a lion / You sound like a lion
Du ser ut som en løve / Du høres ut som en løve
But when used in a sentence with an adjective, it looks like this:
You look scary / You sound scary
Du ser skummel ut / Du høres skummel ut
As you see, the word “ut” is a part of the verb expression, but has to be placed at the end when referring to an adjective.
Norwegian is quite quirky and strange sometimes. I hoped this helped!😄✨

Er det akseptabelt å si 'ska' i stedet 'skal'? Hva med å skrive det også? Og er det vanlig? Jeg tycker at jeg så det et sted med nordnorske dialekter kanskje? Takk!!
Doesn't dukker mean 'ducking'? What does å stupe mean then? :)
